my uncle did this and it worked very well for him he somked for 40+ years but he did put on a FEW LBS.... Good lucks man get some tooth picks or sun flower seeds to ease the pain

You just have to fish for them, i would post pics of what ive been catching in upstate ny, but i cant seem to get my pics to work.. my goal is a 10 plus im hopeing this fall i can get one out of the water but well see.. ive been catching a lot 5-8's this year.. just makes me think there has to be at least or 1-2 10 pounders.

i agree with franko.. Laying the bass on the wet grass is fine, i do it all the time when i fishing my self i get the fish back in well under a minute. wet the grass , lay my rod down snap a pic, release. i sometimes weigh my fish but that only take an extra 5-10 seconds. but your right some people just dont respect the fish. 50% is a little exagerated imo

i dont have any local rod buiders that i know of,.. even if i did i would not pay for on a new rod. next time i have a problem will you pay S/h and fix it for free so they dont mark up the prices?

No i dont think thats the correct way.... With a 4 week old rod i dont want it to have any problems with it, and I'm not going to repair a high end rod. Maybe on one of my old rod i had for a few year that gets used a few hundred times per year with countless hours sure id do that.. not on a brand new GL...

well I ended up getting a abu Garcia veritas 7'6 M/H they had a brand one new that they didn't put out on the rack.. I have my mgx on there its a pretty good set up

I fish them a lot with bullet weight and jika and rage rig... don't like them at jig trailers tho.. lately all my bass have came off a pit boss during the day
