I just bought tungsten bullet weights to replace my lead ones, can the lead ones be melted down for jigs? If so I would love to donate my lead to someone who will use it....maybe in exchange for a few weighted wacky heads from my lead....

Great discussion, I too have some bluegill swim jigs and cranks, even a bluegill chatterbait. I think all have their applications and situations that work well. Matt - Do you think your lure would be a decent back of the boat lure to throw on weed lines when my front of the boat partner is flippin and pitchin?

I think you sir are the awesome one, and it looks like if I want to imitate bluegill I need to throw your lure.

Does the size of mono backing matter when spooling on braid or flouro?

Has anyone used these yet? I am intrigued by the concept especially because I live in a state with strict rules about multiple baits.

I passed my comprehensive exam for my graduate degree in sports management. I will get my degree in a month and my 8 month old son will see me walk across the stage. I am hoping to find a place in a local athletic department, or teach at the undergraduate level at local colleges. This degree covered lots of sport business, so I wouldn't mind trying to find a job in that field either.

I haven't been very lucky with flukes. I think this spring I will give them another go.
