What percent of line strength do you set your drag? For me it is about 25% or so.

As many have said......as slow as possible to get the water to gurgle.

So my fishing buddy has a very nice bass boat and is a very good fisherman......wins his local club pretty much every year by a significant margin. He fishes very fast and flips and pitches an Eakins jig as his go to lure. What do I try to follow up with from the back of the boat?

What do they mean? For example a 1500 or 2000. Thanks

Just bought a new Lew's Speed Spool (The $99 model) and wanted to know which of my rods I should pair it with. My 7' MH or my 6'6" M.....I am leaning towards the 6'6" M since I use it more, but would love some opinions.

Hey guys, just wanting to know your favorite KS SFL., and why it is. For me - Howard-Polk Daniels Lake in Howard Kansas. It has a very good population of Largemouths, Spottys, Bluegill, and Crappie. Last week I took a trip down there and caught 15 bass (about half largemouth, half spottys). Great time, very pretty lake, never busy. What about you?

Won't be able to make the trip, but for a decent reason. I will be helping with the 2013 Kansas Sports Hall of Fame Induction. Good lucky to everyone, I hope someone catches a 8lb + fish and shares some photos!

I have caught a few nice ones (below) near the dam, one was on a ned rig and one was on a swim jig.
