The 734c is agood jig rod in my opinion I use em for football jigs and flipping

unless im fishing in pretty cold water i don't let it set more than a few seconds, hoping a jig works good for me some but a steady dragging gets the job done most of the time.

I've learned my lesson with thinking if the fish will bite a crankbait they will hit a jerkbait, although on some occasions i can catch em just as good on a jerkbait if my buddy is using a crankbait but i've been humbled more than i would like to admit with this theory. I am a big on jerkbaits but alot of times in my experience if a good crankbait bite is on they won't hit a jerkbait good

Dobyns champion 734c or the 735 both great rods I tend to lean towards the 735 but both are great choices.

i've had to resort to finesse stuff in the 12 - 15ft range here lately drop shot and shakey heads, if you haven't tried that it may be worth a ahot.

x2 on this. buzzbaits are no big deal but poppers are hard to use with fc

flipping a jig in about 3fow around docks caught my pb but i've caught some toads on a football jig in about 18fow on humps.

Sounds like a good setup to me.

if they are not on sale yea they are the same price but when they have them on sale they are cheaper than TW

pair that rod with a Lewis BB1 and you won't be disappointed. It might be a little over your budget but you can usually find the Lews on sale

x2 they do take a while but when you can get dobyns rods for that price I don't mind the wait.

yea i jus double checked they go back to 2008

for some reason if you look at it on a ipad or a similiar device it does only go back till 2012 but when i look at it with my labtop they go way back

go to bassmasters.com and the top option bar shows the video tab , you go there and you can watch old elite series events and bassmaster classic

You don't know how much you have helped me by putting these screen shots on here. it has really helped me pick fish out from the bottom i guess it really is just about training your eyes.
