  2. Good luck i haven't been able to get out to the hooch lately the river here has been very muddy making it a tough bite from what I've heard. But it seems to be clearing up now may be able to try and get out mlk day.
  3. The line thru will have more colors released in february. I've been able to fish the glide swimmer for almost 2 months now. from what i can tell its a little heavier then id like and the joint is a little too free. makes it a little harder to control. don't get me wrong its a nice bait but i still favor my s waver over it
  4. I've been twice and caught a few small fish. nothing to write home about. ready for february and some warmer weather so the fish will start prespawn migration
  5. My wife knows my love for fishing so she's ok with it for the most part. sometimes i stretch it a little too far an she gets mad, but a romantic date night usually makes up for it.
  6. I love a bait 6-8" mostly glide baits.you get a lot of follows but they seem to catch bigger fish. also post spawn a big wake bait or floater will draw massive strikes also

  10. Jjs in chartruese for craws in dirty water or on the back of my paddletail or white fluke. Megastrike goes on worms and hatd baits even my swimbaits get it smeared on em the original works so good i haven't tried any other flavor.
  11. I fish on west point lake in ga and not many people here throw many swimbaits over 4" unless striper fishing and even then its not much bigger. i get laugh and head scratches from guys at the boat ramp or on the water. i do catch a lot of fish in the 3-6lb range and show pics and most guys still don't believe it. if my wife knew how much money i really had in my big bait collection shed probably kill me lol! Any ways i was wondering if any one else around me has the big bait fever too?

  15. Ill try out those war eagle jigs. thanks i have a few of their swim jigs and spinnerbaits that are pretty good
  16. Yea i catch a lot of smaller spots shakey heading roadbeds and brush or rockpiles here they like jigs too but they want em small like the bitsy jig but 1/4 oz jigs aren't good for fishing 25' deep lol. Here on west point i talked to a guide yesterday and said some of the largemouth are already getting into the prespawn transition. idk how true it is tho i probably won't get a chance to wet a line til february
  17. how you catching your spots? I've caught a few out here on the bull shad 6" but can't get one over 5 i know they are out there I've seen em spawning and a guy who fishes tournaments with me has caught them during tourneys
  18. I know wat you mean we used to only have gizzard and threadfin but we also had someone illegally stock bbh it hasn't effected us as badly as other lakes but it did throw me a curveball first year or two

They're all big to him. seeing that smile when he's getting his pic taken with his fish is just as good as as anything else i can think think of.
