Thought you guys might get a kick out of a little prank I pulled on the wife.

I met a guy that swore he could smell snakes. He would be walking the bank and then he'd detour and walk a different way when he caught wiff of a snake lol. Thats probably the strangest person ive ever met fishing.

So as I was driving today my water bottle tipped over and spilled water right on the back of my brand new phone. After cussing up a storm I got home and tried blow drying the back. My speaker was completely dead and I was freaking out. I found this app on the google play store called "android speaker cleaner". I figured it was a gimmick but was willing to try, and sure enough it puts out a lot of vibration and a high pitched tone. To my amazement the speaker works just as well if not better than it did before today. Just figured as much as we are around water it may help someone. Not sure if the same app is available for iphones. Thanks guys!

My quirk is weird, anytime I buy something and it comes in the mail I have to be the one that opens it. My wife one time opened a tackle warehouse order just to see what I had bought, and I flipped out. Haha I realize its 100% ridiculous but I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Something that some people do that drive me insane is if we go out and buy a pizza, and the passanger opens it up and eats a slice while we are driving home that drives me crazy too. Lol

I had a bully ONCE in third grade. We were in gym and he thought it would be funny to throw a basketball as hard as he could at me while I was walking away from his group of friends. It drilled me in the back. I went home and my grandpa saw the welt it left on me. He said if anyone ever does this to you again, I want you to hit them as hard as you can between the eyes. Flash forward s week or so and sure enough, here comes the bully. This time he chopped me in the neck, so I did as told and let him have it. Busted his nose and he cried and ran away bleeding. My grandpa was called to pick me up, got in the car and he bought me a ice cream. Needless to say word spread and I wasn't picked on again. May not work for everyone's style of parenting but ill make sure my kids know the same thing. Don't start fights, but you can always finish them.

So today while at work im sitting here wishing I was on the lake as always so I decide im gonna start looking for some more fishing techniques to try. As im typing my boss comes up behind me and starts a conversation, I turn to talk to him while im typing. He stops mid sentance to ask me what im doing. I look at my screen and I have just entered "pinching jugs" instead of "pitching jigs". He's not a fisherman so I was trying to explain it to him all the while horse laughing and wiping away tears. This may have been one of those " had to have been there" story's but I still can't stop laughing.

My big three are : hike the Appalachian trail. Georgia to Maine. 2:Visit Australia and Ireland 3: Own a successful year round haunted house. The third one will probably seem weird, but im a horror buff.

There's a jet black squirrel that hangs around a church yard down the road. I've seen him a few times. Pretty cool looking critter.

This year my absolute go to is the zmans chatterbait. Thats what caught my "once in a lifetime" fish. But I always seem to do well with a chatterbait.
