  1. they freed up about 55M in cap space with 31M of it pretty much yesterday. They must have really lowballed Cole too because he said he was willing to restructure and take less money and he doesn't want to play anywhere else. What scares me is that we play the Bills this year too...Shady is going to go off.
  2. So obviously this is a move that nobody predicted. Since Kelly has had success without his own players I am gonna give him the benefit of the doubt on this one through next season. The Eagles now have about half of their cap free and lost a key part of the offense but with a healthy offensive line they can pick up a RB that will still be good enough for his system. Now if he manages to sign a big time FA like a Suh and then resign Maclin and get Mariota, things will look good for the birds. Then with al that cap money a guy like Houston would be within reach next year too.....at least i hope that is how it all works out
  3. I have never seen a fiberglass boat with a tunnel hull. Generally they are used for jet boats to allow for a super shallow draft and having nothing under the boat to hit rocks etc...
  4. And while i have seen your workout videos you posted, it is still something that i would not want to see lol
  5. Sage XP or the sage LM bass II for conventional rods i have no clue as i haven't fished anything that expensive lol
  6. Forget the lakes and go trout fishing...tons of good rivers and streams to fish.
  7. Guess I missed the leader part on the original post...probably cause it isn't there lol
  8. I had the same experience when i bought my last Jeep...well except the crying part that is lol
  9. the rule of thumb is you don't want your tippet to be larger than the leader. that also isn't by number but by size of the actual material. On a new tapered leader i will just go down one size for my first addition of leader material and then as i lose tippet and/or leader i will match up sizes and rebuild the leader as I go along. For the most part though, i have switched over to straight leaders, especially for bass fishing, and i haven't seen a drop in performance or ability to cast. if i know i am fishing a small mountain stream, i will go to a tapered leader though as they do roll cast a little better in tight quarters.
  10. i personally do not like braid for walk the dog type baits as it seems to get hung up on the front trebles more often than mono, flouro or hybrid type lines. I still use braid but if i fished those patterns more often i would at least use a leader or different line entirely.
  11. Been fishing out of a kayak for a long time but got out of it for a while and now have been back in it for about 5 years now. So, no you are not alone on this board.
  12. Homonyms are one of the most difficult things for students to understand.....as i just finished lesson plan for them today that will be taught on Monday lol
  13. Here are a couple videos of sledding yesterday https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10203326304733574&l=5912117243262737114 https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10203326291093233&l=3815959773572020181 https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10203326267332639&l=443971301251295798 https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10203326277572895&l=2439563259517910150
  14. The other thing to consider with gear ratios, which is probably in the threads posted above, is that gear ratios are pretty much meaningless. Look at Inches Per Turn instead. That is a much better way to compare reels, especially from different manufacturers. I have stopped looking at ratios entirely when making any type of reel purchase. My general rule of thumb is less IPT for cranks and faster for baits i want to move quickly or reel in slack faster for hook setting purposes. Being that i reel with my left hand, there aren't quite as many choices but i manage just fine with 20" IPT for cranks and around a 26" for pretty much everything else. I did pick up a bass pro shops pro qualifier with around 29" IPT during their sale but not sure what I am going to use it for just yet.
  15. I think we ended up with about 8-10" and now it is sunny but still cold so a lot of the roads are melting. I don't think we are supposed to be above freezing here for about a week or so with highs in the 20s. It will be interesting to see if schools are closed tomorrow or a two hour delay.
  16. I don't live in Florida but we go down there almost every year, the inlays have a timeshare. We stay at a westgate resorts in orlando and i think the lake is called Turkey lake...is that the same one? I know the resort is on turkey lake drive or something like that.
  17. we have at least 4-6" already here in Richmond and supposedly the majority of it is not supposed to start falling till now....it will be interesting to see what the totals end up being tomorrow morning.
  18. Actually i was going to just send it up to you to take a look at and fix for me just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
  19. i use the yum money minnows in off colored water and had good success. My only guess is that the thumping of the tail is really what they are keying in on and not color.
  20. As long as it isn't one i regularly fish, i am ok with whatever is picked
  21. I still have a Citica that i took apart that isn't right and i gave up on it for now......guess i should try it again at some point lol
  22. Cuda is a good boat and very stable, especially in the lower seat position. Is it a 12' or 14'? The 14' will be faster than the 12' but also a lot heavier to load and unload. The slayer is getting quite a cult following in a short time and i haven't heard many if any bad reviews. I wouldn't ming getting a slayer propel so i could pedal or paddle depending on the situation at hand.
  23. That is some crazy stuff right there.
  24. I was just getting ready to dig out the go pro so i can be sure to have everything recorded for future use
  25. i usually use 8 or 10lb diameter equivalent on mine as it seems to handle better for me. It really boils down to what is a good price when i replace it and what is in stock.
