I am just looking forward to the first meeting between the Eagles and Skins.....should be a good one for sure.

These are the most dangerous days out there in my opinion...warm air but the water is still cold. also keep in mind that you will be more susceptible to cold now that you had this experience so be aware for next time.

I don't mount mine to my crate. I prefer to not have them straight up behind me. I have ram mounts that i can angle nearly parallel to the water which keeps them out of the way better. Most times though my rods are sitting in front of me though in my commander....easier that way.

Actually no i won't get bent out of shape or at least not it manifest itself in an outward display. Nothing good comes out of a angry or heated exchange I would leave the situation or in this case, not read it. To many other things in life to worry about rather than stress about someone i don't know passing judgement on me and my family. I prefer to avoid a conflict if possible that has no bearing on me personally and this is the case here. Speaking in general terms does not indicate you specifically or me specifically but rather what he perceives as reality. I try and assume positive intent in these types of questions, even if i would have chosen some different wording options, until they make me think otherwise. Education is the key and that is always my goal. I saw plenty of posts about what types of weapons could be bought in certain states and the associated hoops they had to jump through to get them....now granted this could be searched and found themselves but so could the majority of questions asked on this board daily...

Nope because perception is rarely reality. Why would i get bent out of shape by someone who only knows stereotypes asking a question? Rather than belittle i guess i choose to educate instead. And all of America is not my family by any stretch of the imagination as there are plenty of people i wouldn't want to associate with unless i had to. Look at the news, what do you see. Shooting at Fort hood, murders everywhere, people on both sides of the gun debate all over the news...it is pretty easy to make assumptions based on what you see presented. We have one of if not the highest incarceration rate in the world per capita, many people feel the need to be armed to defend themselves (which i have no issue with) so the question seems legitimate to me but maybe i look at things differently and don't get defensive instantly when a thought provoking question is asked.

I should have been more clear in that yes they still are under contract but they can then begin to sign long term if wanted which would be after this season, as it has been the standard for how these deals go since they changed the structure for first rounders. I am also not quite sure how the comparison of Roseman is accurate though....what bad deal has he made as of yet other than the asomauagh deal? the Eagles have always been a great team with cap management and signing younger players earlier to longer deals to save money and provide flexibility. they have also never hesitated to let guys go that were ready to leave or did not fit their system. I do also see some obsessive tendencies with Kelly but it seems like all good coaches are that way and it obviously worked last year. The Eagles were healthier than ever and won the division. This year will tell a lot though as teams have the opportunity to study in the offseason but at the same time, Kelly will have a full off season as well. Should make for an interesting season at the very least. And Jackson will wear #1 because that is where he is......at least in his mind

I guess i didn't see him speaking poorly of the country at all. I saw a legitimate question being asked and all he has to go on is what he hears and what the stereotypes are. to me, it is a good thing that he felt comfortable enough on this site to ask that type of question. There have been many studies performed across the world and when asked what they think of Americans one of the top answers is they love their guns or everyone carries a gun....the stretch to his questions seemed logical to me....

I many are missing the point here too....this is not a warranty issue. St Croix has a great replacement program too even if you aren't the original owner or you broke it yourself. I don't see $35 to replace a rod as a big deal for a $200+ rod. You could have it "warrantied" what, 6 times before you pay for another rod. Seems like a good deal to me.

I think it is funny all the stereotypes mentioned here..... kayakers are mostly finesse guys,most kayakers use spinning rods.....You can use whatever rods and reels you want. I use fly rods, BC and spinning rods all with no issues.

I am with you just making a point...he is a great talent and if he gets his head on right would help any team. This is a big year though for the skins with a ton of good players up for new salaries after this season including RGme, Morris, kerrigan(I think) arakpo..... Gonna make for some interesting water cooler charter where I work

See, you nailed it. The skins problems were not on offense per se, while they were not elite by any stretch they weren't bad and had some pieces but their defense and special teams were atrocious yet not addressed by this move and now they are right back into salary cap purgatory..... And also keep in mind, even if jackson results in doubling the win total the skins still don't make the playoffs

Not sure which Eagles you watched but he was not clutch except a nfew times and pretty much disappeared come playoff time. I like the guy and it will be hard to replace him but they already replaced one part, the return game when they signed sproles. Rookie head coach gruden has a lot of diva to handle in his first year....also RGme can't say anything about not having weapons or make any excuses. It tells me a lot about the behind hte scenes stuff when you have a career year and get cut, your former coach doesn't want you, not one teammate has come out against hte deal or wishing him luck and a guy in the peak of his career chooses the skins instead of a contender....he will probably torch the eagles secondary assuming RGme can stay upright and make a pass. It definitely makes things interesting and i would bet that the skins eagles game in philly will be on national TV....It does vault the skins to the top 6-7 receiving corps in the league though. I wonder if kelly has so much faith in his system that he feels he can replace most of hte production with another player....time will tell but all in all, i can;t argue with a guy who won the division as a rookie head coach and the rest of the team seems to buy into the system and one player doesn't.

There was a Dateline special on how easy it is to get guns across the country and the one place they featured was right down the street from me here in VA....the rules in VA are pretty non-existent when dealing with private individuals. A handshake is all that is usually done but if the gun was bought from a dealer by the seller it probably isn' a bad idea to let the authorities know you sold it just in case something happens and it comes back to being your gun. In the Dateline special they bought i think 5-6 guns on the walk through the parking lot into the gun show...

And even if the braves make he playoffs does it even matter....they can't win a first round playoff series.

I bought the stuff to change my oil and windshield washer fluid...synthetic oil is a lot more expensive but at least I am good for 5k+ miles...it says I can go 8-10k but that just doesn't feel right to me

Braves have been decimated by injuries and the phillies well who knows but their patience at the plate today was a welcome change after free swinging Manuel was at the helm. I see the nats winning the east by default and I like the cards too. If I was betting I would go with St. Louis and the rays with the rays winning...angels are another one to watch....who knows though. One thing I am certain of is that cliff lee is the worst pitcher with a lead ever to play.

I like Sandberg.....Amaro on the other hand has managed to make this once powerful team into a bunch of has beens. I was very impressed with the patience the phillies showed at the plate today.....way different mindset than when free-swinging Charlie was at the helm.

The quick answer is yes, it is pretty easy to get guns and no this ease of access does not directly contribute to increasing gun violence. And no, I do not own any guns nor do i plan to anytime soon....

Those minimums while not illegal are not in compliance with the card agreements at least for debit cards. I think there is a minimum that can be set or credit cards at around $10 or something.
