why hold a bass that big so close to the camera...i mean you can tell that is a big fish but the angle of that picture just looks cartoonish to me.

I can't speak to the MH but i do own the 6'10" MXF and I use it almost exclusively for weightless soft plastics and it does a great job. It has enough backbone for getting a good hookset and it seems to be in line with other M weight rods I have owned with the exception of mojo bass rods which always seemed to be heavy for their rating to me.

Ratings may have been down but they were the highest in LA since 1996 and highest in boston in 5 years. Ratings were still very high just not as high compared to other super bowls. The other thing to consider is the advent of streaming games and those numbers aren't being counted in nielsen ratings.

I am not familiar with those units as I have a helix with side imaging myself but i noticed a comment regarding size. What i will say is unless you are going with some gigantic unit, i would go with the largest screen you can afford. I have a 5' screen and wish i sprung for at least the 7" if not 9" the space taken up difference isn't enough to worry about.

it is probably the most unethical thing to do in the fishing world. It kills all those little fish before they even have change to see the world. I mean how else am i going to catch more fish if i catch all the spawning fish out there? ?????? All that being said, I don't care if you catch a fish with live bait, artificials, spear, bare hands or with a safety pin on a piece of twine. As long as it's legal that is all that matters to me.

i'd pay near retail price on a few different reels but those are few and far in between

Kind of like people saying i saw this for sale for x dollars....doesn't mean it sold for that much. People can ask whatever they want and the market will dictate whether or not it is a viable price.

Tracking is as much about the hull as the length but the general rule of thumb is that the longer the kayak the better it tracks. I have owned multiple kayaks ranging from 10' up to my current 14' boat. I'll take a little extra weight for the advantages a longer boat provides. It doesn't do great in smaller rivers but it works good enough for my use. While I didn't rad every comment so not sure if this was mentioned but a longer kayak will generally have a shallower draft than a shorter one which can come in handy, especially on rivers or getting to hard to access areas in lakes.

don't they have better things to worry about in Louisiana like say tick poor education and one of the most historically corrupt governments outside of maybe chicago in the nation or having a major city below sea level?

I fish a lake with similar characteristics and have had success with soft bodied swimbaits moving just fast enough to tick the grass tops with the occasional drop in a little deeper. Doesn't get bit a lot but when they do, it seems to just about rip the rod out of my hands.

in no way shape or form could the NFL have games be "fixed" involving refs unless they are going rogue. Vegas would lose way more money than they would get out of the deal and they are usually the ones who pick up on the games with point shaving etc...since it hits their bottom line. Way to many hands in the pot to make a game fixed. Not a huge hockey fan so I figured i missed some but can't argue with that one.

Reel Magic sucks and seems to just be oil really...i have no idea what is in the KVD stuff but i know when i use it my yozuri hybrid line is more manageable and i have less issues. Use it when respooling and before each outing.

I have a tough time saying a non-call cost a game as well, especially given how they let them play al game. There were lots of missed calls this game as were every game this season Brees had a shot to win it in OT and couldn't do it.

Bad officiating has been the norm all season and the Saints game was no different. It didn't cost them the game. Sure it made it more difficult but they couldn't close the deal on multiple opportunities. KC is back alive as well...

for that application i would use a swimming worm instead of a super fluke. They will swim truer in my experience. I'd also ditch the mono leader unless you feel the need to for some reason, especially with that much of a disparity in line sizes but that is a preference deal. If you go straight braid line twist won't matter really like it does with mono.

He has always been just a backup. The few times he started a season he couldn't stay healthy and perform at a high level. He hasn't played well this season at all really, he just got hot in the playoffs last year. Saints didn't shut anyone down, so just stop that foolishness. Defensively the saints are trash against the pass and our backup QB couldn't exploit that weakness. Losing Brooks early really impacted the run game as well as Douglas and then Cox was also in and out of the lineup which allowed brees to have time to throw. Foles had a ton of wide open receivers he just flat out missed. It was a well played game from both sides really and holding the saints to 2TD less than normal at home should be enough to win but our offense has been crappy for the past few weeks really and it showed.

eagles played decent defense but were very injury depleted in the secondary. These were two of the worst pass defenses in the league really. Difference is that the eagles have a great d line. Rules have changed the way you can play defense in the secondary so it is harder and harder to compete on that side of the ball.

Nah Foles played like garbage. We shouldn't have needed a lot minute drive to win that game. at the 2 minute warning we should have been in the victory formation. He missed so many wide open receivers it was ridiculous. He also got bailed out on a few more picks by ertz too.
