  2. Do you fish Saltwater too? I only know about saltwater fishing from shore in MA...

  4. I catch so many small snapper on squid off the bottom... Throwing it as far as i can and just put it in a rod holder... Is there a place to rent kayks around there...
  5. Thanks, I saw some jacks close to 10 or 15lbs chasing a small school of fish close to 8 inches- mullet? Well I look forward to heading down again and hopefully it will be more productive than one 4-5 pound jack.... Still put up a good fight and the trip was still fun...

  9. North Palm Beach, right when the Earman River flows into the lake worth lagoon across from mungion island I think... Im gonna go down again with my dad and a friend, minus the sister lol... And we saw tons of snook they were eating glass minnows they are so darn stubborn! It was a blast to actually see them feeding... I'll post a pic of all the snook under the light...
  10. Bass fishing in shallow water is my favorite... Don't be fooled just by the cover you can see on top of the water, an advantage of fishing a relatively shallow place is that you can see the bottom or make out some structure from the bottom. My favorite way to target bass like this is with topwater(hard and soft), soft on pads and in grassy muck, hard around the cover... Like I was saying about cover under the water like rocks, submerged vegetation, logs, etc. I either use topwater, texas rigged worm(weighted or not) , crankbait depending on the depth... If it is a small pond/lake I usually go ahead and fish the entire shore line before doing anything else... Hope something helped....   13. My grandfather lives literally on the ICW so i'll obviously wet a line there quite often fish or no fish... When I have the chance i'll target largemouth...
  14. Last year I caught some sheepshead, ladies, small snapper, small jacks.... Still fun... Would you suggest targeting largemouth then...

  18. My last BPS order included some Scumfrogs, Rage Anacondas, Rage Thumpers, Slug-Os, bullet weights, worm hooks, etc. Stuff like that, it really depends on what you need to add to your "angling arsenal"...
  19. That's sweet shane, I have yet to attempt bass fishing up north during the winter... I'm getting quite excited for my trip to Florida comin' up in two weeks...

  21. This February I will be heading down to Florida in the Palm Beach area. I'm not familiar with the freshwater areas and access and would appreciate any input on places to fish for bass or snakehead from shore a reasonable distance away from West Palm,(under 1.5 hours) ~Thanks
  22. This February my dad, my sister, and I will be going to florida. We do have some rods down their already but I do want to bring some of my other rods that I use for stripers and what not... What is the best way to get the rods their, ship them? bring them to the airport? I haven't went about doing this before so if anyone has personal experience it will be greatly appreciated...
  23. This spring will be my first experience with casting reels, would you guys suggest braid on a baitcaster or a spinning reel.
