  1. We're blessed, Bill. I too plan on making the very best of my time. Everything seems sweeter.
  2. A Pennsylvania hunter bagged a 772 lb. black bear this past week. It was taken in Lacawana County. It may be a new state record.
  3. Happy Thanksgiving, Mike. I agree, thanks for the great reel services. You will surely see more of my business. Stitch
  4. Great decision !!!!!!!! I haven't used any tobacco products for over 25 years but I do remember how tough it was to quit. In my case snuff was the hardest to get away from. It was a contributing factor in my cancer. Stay strong and be diligent. Stitch
  5. Congratulations, Mike. It's not easy but it is very worthwhile. I wish you both many, many more.
  6. Andy, that looks like an awful lot of snow for Baccarac.
  7. Kit caught me shoveling snow this morning. I may be grounded for a week !
  8. I'm glad to hear that , Bill. The holidays sure have taken on a particular new glow. Enjoy, m'friend. May God keep blessing us and our loved ones. Stitch

  10. The highlight of my year was fishing with Dwight. He's a true gentleman and a heck of a fisherman. Thank you, Dwight.
  11. Another milestone has been passed. This morning I took the last of my twice daily chemo pills. I'm feeling better than I have been. I've put on a bit over ten pounds. I am looking forward to my body eliminating all the chemicals that have been used. Once again, I couldn't have done this alone. I thank all of you for your support. You honestly can't imagine how much you've helped me. Stitch
  12. I don't own one but have heard nothing but glowing reviews. I've been told that they can be calibrated and are extremely accurate. If you don't already have a float on it , I'd suggest one. There's at least one at the bottom of a local lake.
  13. Welcome , John. Good to have you here.
  14. Thanks for all your dedicated hard work , Glenn. I appreciate all that you do here.
  15. My Calais DC is definitely my longest casting reel.

  17. Yes we do, Bill !!! Be assured that you're in my thoughts and prayers. Stitch
  18. I finally am making a comeback from the LAST chemo. I had no idea I could be that sick for that long. It's been 9 days, I'm down about 35 lbs. from when I started this whole regiment. Today Kit went out and bought me pants two sizes smaller. She told me I couldn't wear my old clothes for the immediate future. Once again, thanks to all of you for your support through this ordeal. Stitch
  19. Andrew, I am thankful that you both survived the incident. In the last few years I've been wearing an inflatable life vest. Your point is well taken. Thanks for relating your story for all of us.
  20. My kids and grandchildren blew me away last night. Kit and I went to Mass, walked in and saw all of them taking up an entire pew. We went in and sat in the row behind them. In unison, they all removed their jackets and revealed tee shirts saying "no one fights ALONE". Dang tearjerker of a moment. Afterward we all went to my middle daughter's home for a party. I am so blessed having this support from my family and all of you. God bless you all.
  21. Last scheduled Chemo coming Monday.
  22. How's this for being optimistic ? Tres doce el pescado !!
  23. The 7th is coming shortly. I'm with you guys in spirit. Good luck. Knock 'em dead..............PBs for everyone.
  24. I fish with my grandchildren to watch the sheer joy and excitement on their faces. I hope I'm making memories for them while introducing them to a wonderful pastime.
