  2. AWESOME AND CONGRATS! GOOD LUCK FISHING!
  3. Everything looked good until I saw the picture of the guy in the back! I would use it on a small pond or lake (on a nice day).
  4. Here are some pictures: pretty neat concept I thought. I think there are a few on ebay. you may have to try a few different searches to find them.
  5. My buddy is selling these aluminum jon boats that I have not seen before. Let me see if I can describe it with words: It comes in three sections, each section is water tight and perhaps in the two back sections a guy could sit in there and float. As the boat tapers to the front the two front sections are slightly smaller than the previous section. Each section attaches to the other with a couple of bolts. The three sections 'nest' toghether when being stored or towed. When nested the package is about 4' by 4' so it could fit on top of a car, in the back of many 'cross over' suv's or in the back of a mini pick up without hanging over the edge. While I haven't fished out of one, I was quite impressed at the inginuity. I will try to grab a picture and post up. Hydrilla
  6. If you fish open water structure a gps on the bow can be invaluable and will help you not get a twisted neck. Something to consider. Good Luck and congrats on the new RIDE!
  7. It is a lart harder to get "upside down" if you buy a used boat. That way if you ever have to sell you won't get hurt too bad. You can still buy a darn nice used boat! buy a 2003, 2004 in great condition. I think you will be better off. Just my .02
  8. Nice work! Haven't been out yet, looking forward to it!
  9. >>A few days ago I was having some work done at my local garage. A >>blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten. We all looked at each other >>and another customer asked, "What is a seven-hundred-ten?" She >>replied, > >>"You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I have lost >>it and need a new one.." She replied that she did not know exactly what >>it was, but this piece had always been there. The mechanic gave her a >>piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked >>like. She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He then >>took her over to another car which had its hood up and asked "is there a >>710 on this car?" She pointed and said, "Of course, its right there." If >>you're not sure what a 710 is Click Here: http://www.hotautoweb.com/cogifs/710.jpg I thought someone might crack a smile on this one. Hydrilla
  10. Wichita, Kansas. I am a watershed head! Welcome
  11. NICE KU! LBH - Dorothy sounds like a Kansas fish! LOL
  12. Largemouth, In Kansas it is 100% legal to move fish from private water to private water. This thread got me thinking since we often manage our private ponds and private lakes, so I just got off the phone with Fish and wildlife and they told me I can take my creel limit from a public lake and stock a private lake - no problem.
  13. T-rig, we didn't have a scale so we will never know. Long story on the explanation for not having one while in Texas Waters. Cart 7 - I actually don't know what model of Champion I have. I beleive you are right. It is a 1989 boat and it is 18' 3" or 4" long. I would like to know, where would I look? Hydrilla
  14. Was at RayBob a couple weeks back. Here are a few shots of the trip. The first one is a picture my buddy took of my Champion going about 3/4 speed. Thought is was kind of a cool picture. Here is a Ranger being towed by a Champion..........priceless This is one of the 'slots' I caught. Here is the big fish of the trip. I prefer my boat partner to not wear that kind of nonsense but what can ya do? He is giving you his best ROLAND MARTIN. All in All we had a great trip. I was wishing I was there now - but they are sharing the same weather as here, so maybe I will to be there another day. Happy Releasing, Hydrilla
