How much of the max H.P. do you need?
no expert but from my experiance max HP should actually read recommended HP. I think they put max so the dealerships can sell cheaper with a smaller engine. Just my .02 but nothing sucks worse than 3 guys a cooler full of goodies and having to have a guy run to the front to get it on plane.

Trucks
I am driving it. Although at times I wish I would have dumped for the dura-max! '03 2500 crew short bed 4X4 in White. She is going in the shop next week to get a 'key' kit installed on the torsion (sp?) bars to bring the front end up level with the rear. I waited till she rolled 100,000 before I did anything but change the tire size. Will post her up when I get the new rubber and leveling kit.

Need new boat cover
IneedAnewScreenName9886691 replied to IneedAnewScreenName9886691's topic in Bass Boats, Canoes, Kayaks and moreFirst: Thanks guys for all the ideas and recommendations. I just got off the phone with Dean's. Great people and all I had to do was give my serial # and they looked me up! Little more $ than I wanted to spend but - it's going to be just like the old one (minus the stripe down the middle). I am excited!

Need new boat cover
My cover is starting to rip apart through dry rot I think. It wasn't used for quite some time but it just sat in a garage for about 9 years. I have used it as a storage cover but it is starting to rip. I have thought and may try to stitch it up but I really need it for trailering the rig. I have seen the 'fit all' models that the big box stores sell, has anyone tried them. I have an '89 Champion with the older style windshields i.e. the straight up type. I am thinking a good custom cover may be the best ticket though? The current cover fits pretty well, I was thinking somebody may be able to use it as a template for a new one. Do you guys no where to turn for this? I don't want to drop a ton of money. I hoping to stay around $200.00 to $300.00. any ideas, advice or help would be much appreciated. HD

First time buying sunglasses
Great illustration of the glasses! Think of them as levolure (sp?) blinds. They are blocking any light coming up. If you take two pair of levolure blings and cross them at 90 degrees like the illustration then is should be dark/black. You can really see the difference in quality when you do this. Some will be totally black some will be patchy some will be darker but not black.

Buying a new tournament caliber boat - need some guidance
Like Spotsticker said....before you buy you owe it to yourself to ride in a Champion. I am a little bias cause I own one (granted it's older) but she is still in great shape and they like big water. Fished out of an I-class last year and liked them as well- but not a Champ. Nice boats none the less. I like your style - you are doing it right!

Kansas anglers fishing meet
I'm looking pretty good but I have to maintain bubble status until we get closer :-[ I am hoping things fall into place for me, I would love to put some names with faces, etc. Plus I have never fished Bone Creek and have heard a lot of good things about it!

am i wimpy
I drive my boat down gravel roads almost every time I take her. She was real nice when I got her, now every inch has dust in it and sometimes when it rains the carpet turns to mud! But we catch fish and she floats and runs the same just looks used and abused! I have been thinking about buying some of the removable mud flaps though. Should help on the chips on the bottom! I have seen some even less expensive - http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat21276-cat21388&id=0013275520219a&navCount=1&podId=0013275&parentId=cat21388&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=IH&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat21388&hasJS=true

Breathable waders, how to store them? Can they be folded or do they need hung?
The only thing about folding them is eventually it can wear a spot in them. I would think it would be ok if you didn't move them much or have anything on top of them to form a crease. I have had countless breathables. most of them have broken down where the neoprene meets the material or where I have folded them over and over in the same place. Please note that I used to be in them for over 60 days a year and I would bet I put them up more than once still wet but folded (or piled in the back of the truck). So in short - I would say it shouldn't be an issue - just be aware - maybe try to fold them differently each time to avoid wear in the same place. Happy releasing, Hydrilla

Apologies to KUbassmaster.
Not only has Fatgenio put together a good team they have done something BETTER than going undefeated...................They are undefeated against the spread as well...now that is an acomplishment! As a K-state fan I must admit I have been on KU (against the spread) since game 1 this year (except for one and I bet you can guess which). Now the question is when is the ride over???

Ok here are the choices
ChampioN BABY! I may be a little bias, but they are great boats and ride great in the rough!
