  1. Nope that’s there
  2. Not sure what that is. Here’s the schematic
  3. Anyone here have this reel? This reel has performed pretty great for me for going on 3 seasons. All of a sudden it’s like braking doesn’t exist. You can tighten cast control cap 100% and brake to 20 and it will still free spool lightening fast. Talked to DVT, I checked all the usual culprits. Just want to see if anyone has one and can remove their CC cap and tell me what’s there. Cross checked the schematics with a regular USDM Zillion TW and both show similar parts... idk I’m really puzzled atm
  4. Before today it showed like 32lbs for culled weight
  5. Did skeet get DQd???
  6. If any co angler needs a linked boater hit me up!
  7. Yo check your dm. Call or text me.
  8. Dobyns 764CB is a hell of a rod. You can throw from a DT 6 to a 6XD and everything between. I use mine more for DT10s and 5XDs then throw bigger on the 805CB. But I have thrown smaller stuff on it plenty of times.
  9. I went to the 3rd HD today found a pack. Size 36 (3/16 ID) fricking $3 for a pack of 10.
  10. Prob with the tubing tape etc the hook is sideways. Using a ring keeps the hook in line with the bait allowing it to come through obstacles easier.
  11. I wouldn’t use anything but O rings period. Been using em for years on senkos. (Now if I can find the right ones for trick worms lol) 95% of the time the bait slides up the line on the o ring and you don’t lose your worm. I literally used the same senko as a follow up bait for a entire single day tourney. Caught a handful of fish, hung up in over hanging trees etc etc. didn’t lose it. Also had the same worm on during practice. No one has to reinvent the wheel here.
  12. HD or Lowe’s didn’t have them, they had a size 36 but it was hugeeeeee. Definitely not the one. Went some hardware store this morning a few towns over and they have a size that looks like it’ll work but they’re $0.80 per ring that’s insanity.

Was reading some stuff last week people saying it’s due to the size of the fish. If you have a 2lb small mouth, all the real estate of its lips count. Where as you have a 10lb Largemouth it’s a different ball game. Idk I’m not the expert. But seeing guys who tourney fish all year long, every year never lose fish go to weighing dead fish is sign enough for me not to use them.

Yes! Bunch of tourneys here last year every one using the Cal Coasts On smallies were dying. *edit* I heard today from a friend that they are coming out with a new 2.0 model that’s slimmer or something. Still if fish cant close their mouth enough to force oxygen into their gills they suffocate...

Looks like a great method! You nailed it innovation here is key! After every state tourney the DEEP shows up and cuts the dorsal fin off most of the fish. But we can’t “properly” pop a hole with a cull tag but slamming a 5/0 heavy gauge hook and barb through its face on 80lb Braid is acceptable? I understand and there’s tons of anglers who don’t give a crap and pierce the cull tag however they want (resulting in longated tears) and the clips are the only way to make this anglers comply. Even grabbing the cull tag and putting your hand in the water following it down to lip em is too much work for these guys smfh

RMP copied them. I saw on YouTube they’re releasing bags this year for $50 I bought that scale when it came out mine had the cheap little metal clips lol Good scale for the money.
  17. They are great! Deal with Brian most of the time, he always comes through!

We’re you still running recirc/refill. This is literally the first I’m hearing of fish dying in them. Could be a number of reasons... the Cal Coasts may work on Cal Coast lol with 15lb largemouth but not up here on 3-4lb small mouth. The only clips I haven’t heard anything negative about are the add on clips from ardent and the TH marine set. All the others are too big it seems.

Sup all, I’m bout to pull the trigger and buy these just wanted to see if anyone is using them and how you like them, etc? Nation adopted the punctureless tag rule. I’m also doing the BFLs for a first time and idk their rules yet.... Even tho I personally went through the back of the gill plate, just the mere presence of the traditional cull tag is grounds for a DQ. Total BS. As for the clips everyone I know who ran the cal-coast clips last year had dead fish every tourney. From what I hear and read they can’t breathe properly if they can’t completely close their mouths. Idk if that’s fact but of course laws, rules and regulations take effect with zero scientific research. Smh But back to the bags, lol. edit* just saw Russell Marine has copied these bags
  20. @iabass8 ^^ thoughts? I haven’t fished the 2 chatterbait Rods
  21. This just happened! OMG these combos are light!
  22. I saw that they did JDM after I posted... Stupid, they should just release them stateside. Daiwa does the same s***.
