Dobyns 703c or 704c?
This ^^ plus I'd say D.C. 702C is good for 3/16oz stuff like finesse worms and shaky head.

2018 Daiwa spinning (2017 ICAST)
The previous gen Ballistic has the handle arm that screws direct to the reel while the Procyon has the stem that goes through to the cap on the opposite side. Idk what these designs are called lol I'm wondering which of these 3 have what set up. Looking forward to checking them out none the less!

All the SVs you're only supposed to tighten the cast control just enough to eliminate side to side play in the spool, and rely on break dial. Because this SV is on a pinion I'm interested to see if it is that same concept.

Dobyn's DC734 C Application
I love it for 1/4oz swimjigs on 14-15lb FC. Great Spinnerbait rod too.

Sunline FX2
Great line! Use the 50 for buzzbaits and soft body frogs and the 60 for hollow body frogs and flipping/punching!

Is a Tour KVD Crankin' Rod Any Good?
Lol they work for KVD... I'm beginning to grow an acquired taste for glass rods myself so far this spring.

True costs of shipping rods
USPS print label at house for around $25 +/- if you go there the people at the counter don't know the difference between circumference and radius so you're 2.5" tube will be 17" lmao I had a guy last year try to charge me $70 something to ship rod from CT to NY

Someone convince me I should be using FC over Trilene XL
Just googled it! Exactly it's a Pitzen knot I use. Learn something new everyday! Lol yeah it's finicky when you cinch it if you don't pull Main and tag end snugly simultaneous. That bottom wrap may get pulled up under the other wraps especially if you have more than 5. I typically do 7 8-12lb and 5 or 6 wraps for anything higher. Braid and mono I stick with palomar.

Lmaooo I don't do it right haha pinch > 7 wraps > then skip passing it through loop near eyelet and go through loop I created at the pinch. hasnt failed me yet.

Shootout of the $80 reels - PQ, Speed Spool, Aird
Tackle TRap just had a deal might still have it. Tat CT, Daiwa J Braid and a shirt for $110... might be a option

Shootout of the $80 reels - PQ, Speed Spool, Aird
AirD is a solid reel but the drag just isn't up to par with the Fuegos or Tats. Hell even the Lexa...

Someone convince me I should be using FC over Trilene XL
before @iabass8 jumps in on my recommendations lmaoooo(I'm notorious for fishing too light in many scenarios) 12lb Sniper has been my go to Jig/Trig line 3 years and running. If I'm worried about abrasion I jump to Shooter in same test. Rarely do I go higher than 12lb with exception of C Rig I run 16. But yeah 7, 10, and 12. Are pretty much the main tests I go with. If you want to save $5, Assassin has been great for me I like it for moving baits. Also I tie a modified San Diego jam knot.

Sunline SX1 vs. Power Pro
I use the SX1 but higher lb and switch between 7-10lb Sniper for leader. I have had pretty solid success with it. Have never used PP in that low of a lb test but both should be equally noisey lol Sunline has another finesse Braid as well that is fairly new, TX1. I'm pretty sure it's the same line as SX1 but it's coated which will be less noisey in the guides. Good luck!

It sinks is reason enough for me! I don't have 20+/- some odd yards laying on the surface I have to reel in to get line taught enough to set the hook.

Dobyn's Fury Dilemma
How many rods can you get if you sell the wife? ?

734 would be good for c rig. I prefer a softer tip for c rig myself.

Sunline Halfway Mark
I just had a spool of Armilo Defier. I spooled on reel to the marker, then went to spool next reel and it was only like 30 yards. I emailed them and the response was there is no indicator mark... smfh .... Idk last spool the "production mark" was perfectly in the middle to fill 2 reels evenly.

Which "SV" is for me.
I don't know as much as Rippin as far as the technicalities, But for what you describe the Zillion SV TW is the way to go. I own all the ones mentioned (except SS SV) and for exact stuff you plan on using it for I use several of mine. Also to keep in mind it's offered in 5 different gear ratios, 5:1, 6:1, 7:1, 8:1(JDM only) and 9:1. Can be had around $245/$250 across the web. And if you want to get extra finnessy grab some Hedgehog Air bearings down the road. SV 103 would be second choice for those applications but first choice for heavier flipping the reel is powerful!
