  1. Bump, anyone know the 5, 6XD Oval size on the lip?
  2. That's depressing!!!! Well looks like I'll be saving it for important tourneys only! Idk if it's the purple in it or what, it just catches em! Doesn't even match any forage around here but they hammer it! I'm gonna have to write a email to Strike king! They gotta bring this back!!!
  3. As title states? It's my last one been a go to and can't find it on Strike Kings site or TW...
  4. Haha thanks I'll order both. I know some of my top waters use the ones a hair smaller. What are these measured in mm? You know?
  5. I'm completely out of Rings, replacing tons of Trebles this week. I can't seem to find the split ring sizes on the forums. Strike King 5, 6, 8XD Ima Pin Jack and Beast Hunter Rapala DT10, 14, 16 if anyone knows these sizes it will be a great help. I know the hook sizes! Just need the split ring sizes. Thanks in advance!!!
  6. What he said or around here guys weigh and partner in the boat verifies weight and go by same 5 fish limit total weight as they would do in a regular tourney. At the ramp they'll all bring their sheets with each anglers weight and whoever places yadda yadda
  7. Hello all, Asking all my fellow anglers to please help us out. Once again 'they' are planning more destruction to Candlewood. Completely out of control! Many of the BassResource family have helped make a difference in the past with several petitions for issues both B.A.S.S and the general fishing community have faced in CT. We all greatly appreciate anyone helping out and signing this petition. Donation not required! https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/dont-poison-candlewood-lake Thanks!!! - Dave
  8. Those are good too! I totally forgot about them! I could've swore they were $13-15 range lol ^^^ def a good one
  9. I was leaning more towards a paper club but that's a lot of explanation for a quick post lol
  10. Rick Clunn STX but the hooks suck. Berkley Cutter 110+ Shadow Raps all under $10 a pop
  11. No one ever mentions this as a option, but if your free on weekends, join a local Bass Club as a co-angler. My area there's Dozens of clubs, most of which take on new members religiously. Even if you don't want to fish competitively. Say a club has 6 tourneys a year, look at it as a chance to get on the water from a boat and learn from guys who've been bass fishing for years or decades. There's a bunch of high school aged kids who fish Club tourneys just as a opportunity to get on the water and learn. Youll have a lot lot of fun!
  12. Personally I've been all over the place with hooks. Mustads for trebles, owner for EWG and round bend, Trokar for Flipping and drop shot. Would like to go all one brand. Lol
  13. Yeah I've used those before. Want to give the Fusion line a try this year. I've heard good things about them especially the EWG and the Drop Shot hooks.
  14. Ahhh same thing like the Owner Jungle hooks, it's just a epoxy that Braid eats through lol fml
  15. Hey guys, can anyone tell me if the eyelet on these is closed off or if there's a gap. Can't seem to find any pics in a angle to be able to tell. Thanks in advance!
  16. @J Francho I'm pretty sure is the one who got me hooked on Perfect Solution for just about cleaning everything. As as far as after cleaning I just experimented recently my self and used Lucas Slick Mist. Rods came out great. Also Mr Clean Magic Erasers for cork if needed.
  17. Yeah the Type R CT is just RED too much! lol doesn't look right on any of my rods.
  18. I need your search engine in my life lmaoo I have 2 CT Type Rs, prob not worth the jump on the spools for me. But a standard CT that's a good upgrade! I may grab one of the reels when they release if @iabass8 doesn't talk me into a couple Steez' ?
  19. This if you wanna save a couple bucks or jump to the 684 CB in the Champion line if it's gonna be exclusive to Ito110s. Plus you get the shorter length you were looking at. The 685 CB will work too especially if you would like to throw something bigger like a 115 Sammy or a magnum jerkbaits. The sierras are a tad slower taper than the Champions and Furys but not as much as getting a true Mod or Mod/Fast taper. Hope this helps.
  20. Well there ya have it! Not free floating after all. Good find bro!
  21. Steez A will have mag sealed bearings appearantly
  22. Gotcha! So what's gonna be the difference between existing Steez and the A model? Back to the Tats. I love my Zillion SV TWs interested in seeing these new Tats may have to upgrade a couple combos. I wonder if these will have a pinion or be free floating.
  23. My bad was referring to the non CT models... No there's a new Steez "A" TW model or something... ?
  24. Might not be ideal if it's as shallow as the Zillion SV spool. 65# braid or higher fills the reel up fast! Fingers crossed Do you think they'll just eliminate the generic and 7075 spools at this point in the TW variants? Tat and Zills with SV and Steez I'm reading is getting a upgraded G1.
  25. +1 I loveeeeeee mine
