  1. Both are good quality reels. Strongly feel it will be a what's more comfortable to you decision. However that many different techniques I'd suggest going down to a 6.3:1 gear ratio.
  2. Was meaning to respond to this, don't even know how I quoted you lol
  3. Actually. The TWS is smaller on the CT versions. It's more narrower. Same thing between the Zillion TWS and SV
  4. Came in yesterday 703SF
  5. I have a couple of those but had same issue hooks ended up everywhere. Guess I'm gonna have to splurge on a bait coffin.
  6. Even like loose drop shot hooks and small beads and stuff?
  7. Hey all, So I've been using the Plano/FTO terminal tackle box for a few years. 2 things are driving me nuts with it to the point I'm giving up on it. 1 the latches constantly pop off 2 some of the smaller hooks are always ending up in other compartments. Looking at the Bass Mafia box but wondering if anyone has the same issue with small stuff leaving one compartment to another when moving box. Wether it's getting banged around on rough water or simple transport. It looks like the dividers don't reach the top of each row in the pics. But haven't seen one in person. Any thoughts appreciated.
  8. Same exact scenario here. Good reels!
  9. Stradic ci4s are tried and true and on a decent sale today on TW. However have been throwing the Ballistics and just got a Procyon to see what all the hype is about. Definitely good bang for the buck. I helped a buddy fix one of his busted Abus recently, it was built like a tank and a real PITA to work on. But it seems like a decent reel for the money.
  10. Green sniper is definitely cool. Good choice any which way you went.
  11. Sieberts! use the Bps gift cards for something else
  12. Budget? Dobyns Fury 705CB without a doubt! It can be had right now on a handful of websites like TW on sale right now for the 4th with free shipping. Really can't beat it. I'd say for cranks anything from a 1.0 strike king to a Rapala DT14. Up to 1/2oz spinnerbaits. Depending on trailer I'd prob stay around the 3/8oz range in chatterbaits. The 1/2oz plus a hefty trailer puts a little more resistance against the tip then I'd like making it harder to snap it up off the tops of weeds.
  13. OP, Iabass might disagree with me but 8-12lb Assassin for Jerkbaits! OMG!!! It's like PB N J! As far as Sniper goes, I would put my money on Sniper all day for just about any technique. Only 3 things I use Shooter on are: C Rig main line it's stronger on the business end with the big weight slamming against the bead and swivel, paddle tails as my method of fishing these is dragging them across the bottom, and finally heavy cover flipping in clear water. IA I grabbed a spool of Sunlines budget stuff in 10lb to tryout, haven't really thrown it yet but as time progresses I'll keep you posted. So far seems better than Red Label. But haven't really gotten snagged or hooked into anything big yet with it. And I'm dying to try reaction for squarebills, super Nat has performed so well haven't seen the need to splurge.
  14. I was under the impression the blanks would have the same "actions/tapers" as the Savvys. Not the actual same blank.
  15. Just grabbed the one for now as one of my customs broke. Need it temporarily but from what in hearing I'm gonna love it. I'll definitely post some initial impressions have 7 tourneys plus practice this July it will be used a lot. Shakey Head season
  16. I haven't but which Furys? Would you rather sell them outright?
  17. 703sf on its way and grabbed a Procyon for it not 100% but I think the Luvias would match it better far as I can tell by pics
  18. Ok so revised and updated lol Carolina Rig and Football Jigs DX 744 HP - Zillion HLC - 16lb Shooter Paddle Tail Swimbaits DX 743 HP - Tatula HLC w RCS cork knobs - 10lb Sniper
  19. Happy they kept the classic cursive "Sierra Series" insignia. Miss it on the XP and HP models
  20. I'm a righty that uses all left handed retrieve. It feels very awkward to me trying to do it the other way. Plus with a big fish I do t want my weak arm holding the Rod.
  21. Cabelas guide wear pants I have are like windbreaker material they zip off into shorts if you choose. They're so cool in the summer never had to zip em to shorts. They also make some wit a bug repellent built in, I believe it works even after several washes my buddy was gettin attacked by horse flies lol I was fishing lol anyhow usually can get em on sale 50% off when they are on sale.

I don't think any of these are live target they don't look like them eyes and arms are different. Idk could be different production runs. The live targets belly has a silver think where hooks go in these dont. Hooks just run out a hole and circle thing is behind that

These are what I have the spro popper and River 2 sea below it I know. The rest can anyone identify? The brown one I think is matzuo cause the white one not in picture looks just like it. All except the green one next to the 2 black ones sucked lol Edit* the green one that worked good and the black one below it look identical. But the black one kept filling with water the green one didn't. Idk
  24. Love the green! Nice rig bro! Congrats
