  1. The best replacement, to me, is the 8" Grande Bass Megatail Rattlesnake. That worm flat out catch's fish, Bass just don't want to let it go after picking it up. Brian.
  2. 80 yards of line. how far you planning on casting? The main concern, for me, would be IPT that far down on the spool. Brian.
  3. I won't give the name of the Lake up, but it's going to cost you a Sushi dinner. Brian.
  4. I use a 6'8" Cumara Med./Ext. Fast w/6lb. Sufix Floro to throw the lil Jerks and love that setup for that purpose. Those little Jerks have turned a few bad days into decent ones. Brian.

You and me both Brother, and I own a Tavern, but I'm sure glad they do. Brian.
  6. You know this also works for Ugly Sticks and about every rod made. Brian.
  7. Friend was fishing them this summer after buying several bags. Latter in the day he directed me to get the boat as close as I could to a boat moored at a dock. Didn't know what he was doing till he threw all 6 packs into the other boat and said that's good, let some other fool deal with them. Brian.
  8. I fished a private lake on a horse farm as a kid. One day the owner walks down and says Feed the cats today. I was ignorant to what he meant, so when I ask him he said the Bluegill's and Sunny's were starting to take a down turn in size so catch a mess and throw them on the bank the cats will know what to do. His method obviously works, I've never fished a place where the panfish average size was so large. Brian.
  9. I double it all, if I'm useing higher pound test it's for a reason, and sure don't want my weak spot to be my knot. Always give every knot a spritz of KVD L&L before cinching. Brian.
  10. I don't have NO TRESPASSING signs on my front door either, but come on in and start making a sandwich and I guarantee you won't like the outcome. Brian.
  11. I have 10 Lew's Team Golds all tuned up and none of them is going to throw a 1/8oz. bait with any distance. Brian.
  12. Steve Daniel, next question. Brian.
  13. Remove your bearings, soak in Acetone, relube with 1 drop of a light oil(designed for bearings) and reinstall. Since the real is apart check your brake system to make sure everything is working correctly. If this fails, send to DVT and it will return to you better than when it came out of the box. Brian.
  14. I have a Mag. w/ Plano 6701 boxes and 3500 boxes in the outside compartments. That is a ton of tackle and makes for a very heavy bag, I couldn't fathom a Super Mag, my back hurts already. Brian.
  15. Summer throwing a Watermelon Candy Berkley Shakeyworm w/a 1/16oz. Tungsten was putting the hurt on them. Easily out catching my Bud throwing a 5" Watermelonseed Senko. After a few hours, much to my partners surprise, I went to the bag and switched up to a PB&J Senko. Just wanted to see how that color would perform as a comparison. My bite slowed but every fish I caught after that was much bigger on average to anything I had caught that day. That's just one time, so don't know if it would hold any sway to your theory or not, but it was true that day. Brian.
  16. I had the exact thing happen this summer to my Cumara Drop Shot Rod. Shimano replaced it with a brand new HM1 Cumara. I called them, shipped it back and had a new rod in 2 weeks, really pain free. Brian.
  17. Any soft plastic of the correct size. Brian.
  18. 2; Megabass Rattelevipers. Brian.
  19. I'll second Steve Daniel, easily one of the best on the lake, Steve and his Wife Deb are also Top Shelf people. Pay for a day, you won't regret it. Brian.
  20. I think the Guys who say stuff like that are trying to be the lake Guru to the people at the ramp. I guess some are impressed by it while most know they're FOS. Brian.
  21. I told my daughters if this boredom don't subside I'm going to start fishing in your aquarium. They said that's fine, you throw em all back anyway. Brian.
