  1. I haven't had any issues with the new one. I throw them a good bit and have caught some flat out Toads on them with no issues. I like them enough that I have an empty beer box full of them in my fish'n room. Brian.
  2. Region, lake depth, water makeup and color, seasonal temps., high or low pressure, cloud condition, windy or calm, etc., etc.. Hard to tell not knowing the exacts, actually, no idea without knowing the exacts. Brian.
  3. Ike; I thought this was a community hole? KVD; Yeah, but you're not a part of the community. KVD turns to the camera man after Mike takes off in a huff and says" Me and Mike don't get along". Brian.

Jig head with a weed guard. Brian.
  5. Shimano Complex 2500. Been beating on 4 of them for 4 years now, 200+ days a year, and are just as smooth as the day I got them. Brian.
  6. Caught a lot of fish on them but nothing big enough to check durability. I take a friends 14 year old Grandson with me, he ain't throwing a Tripple Trout or Dep's. They do catch fish, just haven't caught anything large. They're inexpensive also, bought him a pile of them, he tends to lose baits. Brian.
  7. I like the Rogue, also like Long A's and Lucky-E-Strike's. All 3 won't break the bank and def. catch fish. Some accuse L-E-S of knocking off the 110. Brian.
  8. Not a good choice of words. By toss, I meant a side arm lob type cast, they cast fairly well that way. They do look good swimming. Brian.
  9. It's like casting a frisbee. They catch a huge amount of air, best to just toss them instead of trying to cast them. Brian.
  10. The Micro Power Poles are rated to 1500lbs.. What are some opinions on the use of 2 Micro Units on this 16' 8" Boat at 900lbs.. I like the cost factor plus being able to remove the poles when not needed. Brian.
  11. How about the Hawg in your avatar? Brian.
  12. I need to be more patient. I get to fish'n and I turn into a little kid, cast and reel, cast and reel. Also want to try for some Musky's. Just purchased a nice Jet Boat and hopefully Speedbead can lead me to some. Brian.
  13. I'll just say I have several (7) new Tackle Warehouse T-Shirts, the free ones for ordering $150 worth. Brian,
  14. I used the Vexilar several times. My only complaint was my Wi-Fi signal kept dropping out, might have been my phone, but after several days of this happening I returned it. But it did show an impressive amount of detail when it was working. Hummingbird released one and I might try that one out. Brian.
  15. Might do better in the Bass Boat forum. Not being a Mod., just trying to help. Power Poles, I think, are the best boat accessory in the last 20 years. Brian. P.S. Your Wife is awesome.
  16. My bud wears the Mechanix Gloves and raves about them. I thought it was funny because he fishes all Shimano JDM gear and I thought he'd have some super high tech gloves and he whips them out. He looked at me after about an hour and states "These gloves are awesome." Brian.
  17. Castable Sonar and a few hours, unbelievable what you'll learn. Brian.
  18. LIN Black Jungle 10R and a Destroyer X7 Bearingdown. My wife is AWESOME!!!!!!! Brian.
  19. Daiwa DX Swimbait Rod, very nice rod for $100, and McCoy Copoly 20 or 25 pound. Brian.
  20. I got a Baker scale and really like it. Not expensive and one of the only ones that don't eat batteries. Brian.
  21. Shimano Cumara HM1 7'2" Med./Ext. Fast, scary what you can feel with it. Brian.
  22. I must get lucky, after numerous shipments from oversea's, I've never once paid any extra fee's. I'm not talking 1 or 2, I'm talking 60-70 shipments. They were'nt all fishing, but all bigger money purchases. Brian.
  23. Speedbead, your DD is coming, just a matter of time. You're in the correct waters, you definitely know what your doing, it's just being there at the right time. I say by August. Brian.
  24. Monday morning they pulled a 40 year old man out of a local lake. He had been fishing Sunday and had text several pictures of fish that evening. He was in a canoe and something happened. This lake is only 36 acres and 8 ft. deep. It just goes to show anything can happen in the blink of an eye. We all need to be diligent with water safety. I'll think of this every time I'm there. Be safe all, Brian.
