  1. I've found some bobers similar to those at dick's sporting goods I think they were called "thingamabobbers".. Had some that were actually smaller than a dime, but I stuck with the ones that were dime sized.. I'll be trying them out soon since you've given me some ideas.. Thanks
  2. Howdy, The est suggestion I can make would be to work with smaller lures on pinchot.. I'm more towards ultra light rigs but have caught bass there.. I've had decent luck with roostertails, and 4 to 6" worms there in the past.. For some reason the water's been still pretty cool, but have spotted bass in the shallows chasing bluegills.. HTH, and good luck to you !! Tux
  3. Prayers and best of wishes for Tred and his family !! Always liked his show.. He had some very educational points during just about every show...
  4. Dang !! Thats a surprise !! If memory serves me, it usually pretty well matted by now, but hey enjoy it while you got it.. ;D Tux
  5. I'd imagine the weeds are pretty well matted by now right ??
  6. I'm still kicking !! Just working like crazy is all, and working on the honey-do's ;D... Looks like a pretty healthy specimen there !! Congrats on your good luck..
  7. Man I miss fishing Black Hills !! Glad to see you hooked into a good one while doing some night fishing !! Hughs to Miss Brylee for me !! Tux
  8. WTG Dude !!!! Big Bro' told me that you wore them out on the outing !! I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it but I forgot and double booked myself.. Hopefully next time I'll hook up with you all ... Might even give you a run for your money ... Congrats again!! Tux
  9. If I were you and wasn't sure about how they'd taste, I'd catch one or 2 and try them before catchin' a mess of them.. Just my 2 cents worth... Good luck with them !!
  10. Powerbait "nymphs" on a 1/64 oz shad dart(I use the ones from trout magnet), under a slpi float..
  11. Hope you slept well Capt., It's funny, I thought all the sentinel papers were linked together, but apparently not.. I'll just have to wait and see one or do a search for them... Have a great weekend !!
  12. I tried looking up the juniata sentinel online and found something of the sort but it had no pics of it, only of local baseball teams .. I guess I'll have to Matt, or Basser to help a body out.. Looking forward to wetting a line with you as well...
  13. Hey Capt. Did thwey happen to have a pic of the little bugger ??
  14. Sure I'd be willing to give them a shot ... I'll be having a pair of hip or waist waders on just to be safe.. I don't need anything nipped that I might need later ;D!! I'll be doing honeydo's this saturday, but sunday should be good, for a few hours... Otherwise we can try for another weekend .. Let a body know ??
  15. I'd like to see one of these buggers... Anyone have a pic ???
  16. That is DEFINITELY not a good thing !! The next thing is what's the plan for getting rid of them ??
  17. Well you try out yours first and let me know how it goes ?? That way I know whether to bring the bow instead ;D.. We have to get together and do some panfishing one weekend, when time allows it... Hey if you catch one of those toothy bream take a pic... I'd be REAL interested in seeing one of them ..
  18. Dang !! That doesn't sound like anything I'd wanna "lip" for sure !! It does sound like some crossbreeding or something going on... I sure hope not !!
  19. What's the going price for a pixy ?? Who will or is selling it in the states ??
  20. Got a pic of one of these critters ??
  21. Sounds like the lightsticks won't cut it.... :'( Oh well, will make the best of it with what I've got .. Thanks a bunch folks !! Tux
  22. First thing, I'll be fishing from shore.. I'll be trying this for the first time and was looking at trying litesticks as attractants.. Should I use live bait, or stick with artificails, with maybe a few glow in the dark types ?? Any help and advice will be GREATLY appreciated !! ;D
  23. Welcome to the board, first off ;D... The others are sunfish, basically group them all as bream , which there none that are inedible as far as I know.. As of late, in my neck of the woods, I've been having good bit of luck with 1/64 shad dart heads, and using a berkley powerbait nymph on it under, with a slip bobber.. What I do is use a length of flourocarbon as a leader, and use an extra weight above that(usually 1/32nd) to get down a little quicker... Seems to be paying off for me these past 3 weekends I've been out trying it... Also try beetle spins and roostertails... Hope I was some help to you, and best of luck to you.. Tux
  24. I think I saw that shyster at either K-mart or wal mart ... Will have to run by there and see for sure, and will give you a heads up.. Welcome to the board..
  25. For me it all depends on the water I'm on and the conditions.. I bank fish so I kind of run and gun until I get a hit, then work it over with another lure when things slow down or the bite stops... It's not one of those things where you just pick a spot and cast.. Gotta do a little leg work and find an interested party first or some interesting structure..
