Hey, Man your up in Macon. There are a couple of ponds that I know about in the area. First one is not too far from Robins AFB. I am not sure if it is still open. Another place is on the back way like going to Barnesville Ga. Last time I went to this one a plenty of years back and it was around $3. Another guy had one open with nice large bass but ended up closing down. If I happen to hear more I'll post. I no longer fish these as I have friends with private ponds so I fish for free.

What heavy gear are you guys using that is light enough that I won't get tired? This rod has be stout; as I was fishing one area of a pond and its very tough. I have logs, stumps, and grass to watch out for.

If I am not mistaken that post is over 8 years old.

You know how you can buy a football jersey with someones name...or buy a a jersey add stuff too it and make it your own. If always wanted a bass fishing jersey. I have no sponsors so I didnt want to get into any trouble with that. Id just like to have one. Maybe there isnt a market for selling tournament journeys with your favorite pro on it....who knows...

I went to Eufaula a couple of weeks ago and didnt have a hard time. Tho we ended up leaving and going to Logan Martin and West Point in Alabama. Welcome to BF Cheers Jay

Yes I was using a live target

Caught my first fish today on a frog. I never use them because I have no confidence in them. But since the conditions were perfect (overcast) i cast out on a 7'6" right into some brush. First cast reeled in real fast then stop. Wish I could have record it. I just saw it go under and I lifted the rod. Fish on baby Keep lines tight Jay

When bass fishing and over cast condition....what do you guys normally pull out first? I have now just got my confidence to fish a spinnerbait sometimes Ill through a top water lure like a buzz bait I have no confidence in fishing with a frig because I dont seem to get much action out of it. Any help would be great

Hmm Ill have to go over my rods again and see. I have to purchase more line anyway

Went to Logan Martin for about 3 days and fished was a nice trip and my first time crappie fishing. Ended catching some nice slabs and many close to 2.5 lbs.
