I was doing some casting in the yard today and my hands got cold quick. I know that if I get water on my hands that they will be very cold. So I picked up a UA jacket today, also Ive got a Columbia Jacket coming in the mail. I should do fine, with my hunting boots/work boots. I'll pick up some head gear. But my main thing was do u guys where gloves out there???

I like the Carbonlite and the Veritas. Ive only broke one Carbonlite and was easily replaced

I manage to pick up a Lew's and a Bass Pro Shops Extreme Reel. I'll be using 50lbs braid and 17 lbs Seagear Tatsau Flurocarbon. I picked up some Strike King Tungsten 1/4 and 3/8 ounce weights. Ive got Costa Permits on the way. I picked up some Yum Money Minnows, and most of the time I take my Multi Tool out.

Ive got plenty enough of spinnerbaits, have some (4 jigs), couple of shallow cranks, and plastics. Now you can never have enough plastics. So I plan to get more plastics...like rage claw, stuff like that. Now keep in mind I dont fish more than 8' deep of water. And I plan to buy a 100 dollar rod leaves me about 191 bucks to spend on fishing. What else do ya think I need??

I didnt throw the Calcutta D in the trash. It may have sounded like that but its still here. I threw the old Abu Garcia.

People are telling me to search. So I search, people tell me to look, so guess what I look. I search out side of the forums and inside. I came up with how to choose a "Guide" and stuff like that. Maybe i'm not searching in the right place. Im not sure but I do have enough Info on why I should by a Duckett now...thought the guides may have served a purpose

Here the reel Im talking about its by the Abu Garcia I dare not throw the Calcutta D away...but lets talk about parts...i took the Garcia apart...in the cranking side u had some gear....on the opposite side there were more gears in the inside....so I ddint see any breaks

Not worried went ahead and dumped it in the trash. I was reeling in and then the reverse ball bearing went out...therefore i just dumped it..picked it up at a garage sale not worried

So is it worth buying??

What are the benefits of micro guides...I havent yet picked up a rod but went and looked at some duckett, abu garcia, and others. I saw some with mico guides

About 2 hours but I work in Atl so If i went after work it would be a 30 min drive

Like others have mentioned A-Rig is my first...if Im fishing where its not allowed maybe a jrkbait or a DTXX series by Rapala
