  1. I didn't have a great tournament. I lost 2 fish and only had one keeper by 2:00. Then this chubby nailed my jig. It so happened to be a Siebert Tackle the Storm jig. It's been a long time since I hooked one this big. It weighed 5-7. What a rush!
  2. 2500 paired with a 6'9" Falcon Cara drop shot rod.
  3. It looks photo shopped to me. The camo patterns are different. On his right arm, left in the photo, is the most popular mossy oak pattern. On his left forearm, right in the photo, it is one of mossy oaks first patterns. Mossy oak tree bark. Two completely different patterns.
  4. Great info man. I fish from the back in my club. I as thinking about some BFL's in the future. This will help me out. Thanks!
  5. This was earlier this year. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/134263-princess-pole-success/?hl=%2Bprincess+%2Bpole+%2Bsuccess
  6. x2 with one exception. The Chronarch Ci4 bait caster will launch finesse style baits a mile. The only drawback would be the $279 retail price tag.
  7. Crayfish molt multiple times a year. Bass Times had an excellent article on this subject. I would suspect that the color of crayfish varies from different parts of the country.
  8. It depends. When I ordered my righty they were on back order. 3 weeks later it arrived. All you have to do is pull up a private chat with one of the customer service reps. They'll know what you need to know.
  9. Tweak it at ya want. Just don't "twerk" it!
  10. Took the words out of my mouth.
  11. Yes sir. Feather it like Ike talks about and you'll catch a bunch of fish. My favorite from shore is Siebert's swim jig in bluegill. Mike has the best bluegill skirt IMO.
  12. gallowaypt, I can honestly say it has improved my hook up ratio. I almost use the dredge series exclusively.
  13. FLW if I'm not mistaken, puts full episodes on their youtube channel. I just set my DVR and watch when I can.
  14. It isn't so bad to mow, it's the d**n weed eating! LOL My parents share the acreage with me. Dad and I tag team it once a week. Being 75, I stick him on the ZTR and I do the weed eating.
  15. Mike has a grass jig. I double that style head as a swim jig. For the thicker weeds or mats, I would go with a punch rig.
  16. My favorite ones are the Dredge Series. The deep throat Owner hook is where it is at.
  17. I have 5 acres to park one on when I get one! I'll never live inside city limits again!

Use pliers to open the hooks a little. One thousand one then set the hook on one thousand two. .
  19. You won't be disappointed. A killer bed bait!.
  20. He has stated on here that he doesn't make much on the hard gills. He says he doesn't make a lot of money like people think and that his bread and butter per say is the plastics. He does make a batch or 2 of hard gills a year and you have to jump when he puts them up. They go FAST!
  21. I PM'd him earlier in the year. He told me if I had a Facebook account to go like his page. He announces it on there and e-mail.
  22. Opinions are like ....... well you know. Everyone has one. And you are entitled to yours.
  23. I just noticed a few minutes ago!
  24. I'm with you Hootie. I have 5 PQ's and they are solid reels. But IMO I say if you're willing to spend $159, then throw another $20 with it and get the Curado I. It will be light years ahead of the Johnny Morris. Just my 2 cents.
  25. Nice post A-Jay. I am taking my wife fishing for the first time ever tomorrow. She has never really shown any interest until now. So I am hoping she kicks my rear and we have a good few hours tomorrow.
