  1. What does that do?
  2. Saw the ad. Maybe a new walk the dog style hard bait.
  3. I have fished this canal multiple times and still no luck. Tossed in senkos flukes tried a horny toad nothing. Today I saw a bunch of activity in the water tossed my bait on the other side and moved my bait through the and nothing. What gives. This is the canal running parallel to the turnpike by 41st street. It's heavily stained water so I have been using darker colors. Today was overcast so would think they would move further away from the edges of the canal. Any suggestions? -Michael
  4. How could they not come on here. There is a high concentration of bass anglers that freely share information. People trying new techniques and tackle that pros may not have seen. The manufacturers can find out what is working and the pulse of their target audience. Anyone in the industry would be on here.
  5. Also check your motor manufacturer. They also payout. Found out when I did a photo shoot for some FLW Pros. I asked them why everyone had the same boats and motors. I wished I was into bass fishing back then. Those boats are fast.
  6. I would bet that if you added some fish oil to it could be killer.
  7. Have you tried contacting some PR departments of the various companies out there. I would assume some of them would be willing to donate something for a little advertising and a good cause. If you are working with March of Dimes a letter in their letterhead would go a long way to adding credibility to your tournament.
  8. I use both Kinami and GYCB just depends on the colors each brand has. I like watermelon chartreuse. Seems to work in S. Florida stained water. Like Comfortably Numb mentioned, the difference in price is the number of baits you get in the package.
  9. I'd love to see one of these in real life and in action. You can bet that I would be rechecking the knot often if I were to use one of those. Lol
  10. I hope so, my boys were getting worried that all the fish had disappeared from the lake. That whole we are fishing not catching thing goes right over a 7 and 5 year old's head. I handed the older one the rod and he brought Mr. Bass on to shore.

  13. Caught my fist bass with megastrike. Dang that sucker did not want to let go. It did not hit it hard, just the line got heavy and next thing I knew. Fish on. lol. Will try it again tomorrow at a different lake and see how it goes. At least the skunk streak is over. Hahah

Welcome aboard. Lots of great information here.
  15. My guess is to cause a halo effect. A company comes out with a money no object reel with the intention of getting people to notice. Also test out the latest in technology. I'd presume the $200 reel was the $500 reel of the past. Look at those high dollar reels of the goodies we will see down the road. If the company can sell them and recoup their R&D dollars all the better. My .02¢
  16. That's what I tell my boys on those off days. lol
  17. I recently bought this one. http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Squeeze-Out-Hook-Remover/product/10213376/ Works pretty good
  18. Well isn't that a clever addition to the tackle box.
  19. Thanks for the link. Should I look for micro guides as well? Or are those for more advanced folks. lol
  20. Yeah me too. Got skunked today. Oh we'll next time I'll get em lol
  21. Haven't been fishing long enough. lol
  22. Thank you all for the great advice. I really appreciate it. I'll start researching the different rods and reels mentioned in the post and wait for the big BPS sale. -Michael
  23. Oh am going to get one. The question is how much should I spend for the first one
