Hello, so we have finally got a boat after all this time, fishing from shore on this lake. Since i'm new to this, it would be great help if someone could examine this map and by what the map says tell me what would be the best places in pre-spawn, spawn, post, summer, fall. Im not planing on fishing in winter. But by what you see on this, could you try to be detailed/specific on the best places for largemouth during those times of the season, etc. There is one part of the lake that is weedchoked, (you will see on map.) If it is possible with our boat to get back in thicker weeds, what should i fish with? If it would be easier to help through email, i will reply with my email username, and we can go from there. I also forgot to add about if they were lightweight and with the lightness what you could compare it to if possible

So i've been browsing for some rods in and around the $100 pricepoint. I have came across Falcon rods over the internet and i was wondering how they are. No one around my area sells them. I'm looking at the Falcon Original's in Spinning and Baitcasting. I was wondering if these rods are good, especially in sensitivity, balance, quality, etc. Also if you could compare them to other rods what would you compare them too. The main one I'm looking at now is a spinning in med. light which says its great for Shad Raps and like light line finesse applications i would assume. If you could help me out that would be great! So i am aware that Lew's makes a pretty good baitcasting reel. While browsing tackle warehouse i saw that they make rods as well. The one that caught my attention was the Lew's Laser SL Speed Stick spinning rod. They also make them in the casting model as well. I was wondering if anyone new anything about these like if they were good quality, sensitive, durable, etc. Also i have a TFO G. Loomis Tactical Spinning in 6'9" med action, fast taper. I was wondering also what that would be good for and what would a 7ft or 6'6" spinning rod be good for. (Since that is some of the models of the Laser SL's) Thanks!

Alright, so finally getting a boat a good one for "really cheap" Ok so only things that i know about it at this point in time, is that its 17' fiberglass v-bottom. Here's the bummer, where i fish only trolling motors are permitted, since it is a pretty "pristine" body of water. So i am wondering what would be the best trolling motor that is not too much money. To push this boat at a "decent" speed. Most of the time it will be two people on it, maybe 3. I'm assuming since you're only allowed a trolling, the transom mount would be what i;m looking for. So i'm wondering how many pounds of thrust and what companies i should look for that are not too expensive. Also give me some more input about in info, opinions, etc Thanks

I'm wondering how to fish this bait, since i'm new to bass fishing. I won a prize pack thing, and these were in it, but i haven't had a chance to ask anyone. So these are Berkley Powerbait Realistix... (Pogy Swimmin' Shad) in the shad color. All I want to know is how to fish them, when to fish them, and where. I just want to give em' a whirl Thanks

Anyone here fish in southwestern pa. Is the fishing around here good/bad. Are fish big or small and it seems that bass in the north are smaller than in the south. Which i'm pretty sure i know the reason, but i'm just wondering if anyone fishes the still waters up here (lakes,dams, reservoirs, etc)

Ok so I am looking at an Abu Garcia Vendetta2 casting model in Medium action. So there are two of them, one is a medium action, fast taper, 6'9". The other is a medium action in 7' with a moderate fast tip (not moderate, moderate fast.) Yes, many of you will probably say about this reel or rod being bad but I'm going to pair it up with a Black Max, for now until i get into this more. I have read many good reviews on both the rod and the reel. My question is what would be the better rod to use for many different applications, like plastics (texas rig mostly), maybe a little bit of jigging, and cranking, etc. You know good all around. Right now i have a TFO spinning rod fast tip for dropshot and other things i can find to do with it. Much help would be appreciated. I don't want to get into very technique specific at the moment so i want a good choice. If you would like to add any info, opinions, etc, i would like to hear. Thanks

So as you know us bass fisherman are more a less prone to buying all the new cool items, and try to be more like the pros. For example fishing like them, using special baits for certain fishing, having a rod for every type of bait out there "lol." But me, (being more new to the bass fishing world, since i've trout fished all my life) Have more a less have been overwhelmed with the vast majority of "components/techniques" to this sport. Though my question is more directed to crankbaits, of course you fish the whole water column, and i would assume one of the more productive colors is more silver like baitfish. I was wondering other than baitfish colors, what are productive colors for fishing largemouth. Also when you are fishing (if you don't have a fish finder) Where would be the best place to through baits, and why kind of bait in that area, depth, etc etc. I would really appreciate if you gave me some good information on other things since this whole thing is overwhelming me and i want to buy everything "lol" Thanks Also i would like to add, sorry if i posted in the wrong "forum for say"
