  1. I just received my order in both the Craw and Original scent. Can't wait until the freeze has passed to begin using it. Heard so much about this and JJ's on this forum that it makes me excited about this next season. Can't wait!!!
  2. I with most of the others. Bought a backpack in WalMart and it serves the purpose just fine. Can't justify the price of some of the tackle backpacks. Nice but overkill for a hike around the lake.
  3. LOL. I have been there before. Hey ... at least you were fishing. It's below freezing where I am. If I tried a slow senko on my nearby lake it would slide on ice for a little while. That little "lunker" is better than nothing.
  4. 2 sunglasses. One with amber lenses and the other with smoke lenses
  5. Baby brush hog and the Missile baits DBomb.

    Thoughts and prayers buddy.
  7. Black and a shad color (white belly).
  8. Baby Bass and Black are 2 of my top. Green Pumpkin being my #1 color.
  9. I have a small KIA and transport my canoe with a Sportsrack carrier which cost me less than a $100. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11492935&kw=roof+rack&lmdn=Brand It's extremely durable and has lasted me a full year thus far with no sign of wear. I even took this on a 4 hour trip to PA from where I live with zero issues. As for lugging it on and off the car. Well ... if you care about your car's finish definitely use towels or something to place it on your car. Lean it so it sits along side your car. Lift from the opposite end and slide into position on your roof. Reverse the process and you can get it down easy. Lastly ... about the Kayak paddle. That's what I use. I keep the other traditional paddle bungeed on the inside just in case I lose my kayak paddle for some reason. Works well Good luck.
  10. As a co-angler this one is very tough. Especially if you are working a bait, not getting bites and see your boater begin landing them. That doesn't mean your presentation wouldn't get bit but it does begin to mess with your head. With that being said I am more inclined to go with the 30 minute rule as a co-angler if neither of us is getting bit. If my partner begins killing it then that could vary.
  11. Welcome... again.
  12. Trailer hook all the time. Trailer never but I plan to experiment with them next season under some conditions.
  13. #1 on the list is the drop shot. #2 is jigs (flipping & football)
  14. Yes. I also use a Swimming Super Fluke or Jr. Size.
  15. I was given this advice a long time ago and it helps. You need a baseline before you can judge one lure vs another. Its such a personal preference. Do your research and pick a lure from one brand and work it for a while. Once you try another lure you will be surprised how much easier it is to compare. For me... SK Red Eye Shads SK KVD 1.5's Jerkbait- still undecided.
  16. Had a bird chase my worm when I casted it out. It missed the worm but got the line and it nose dived into the water. I had to reel it in and clip of as much line as I could. It was the best thing I caught that day. Priceless moment.
  17. Sexy Shad Chrome Black (or Blue) Back Chartreuse Black Back
  18. I keep a waterproof notepad and pen. I write down water temp, depth and water conditions at the very least. Then I can fill in the rest from memory later.
  19. Guys, I'm new to Smallmouth fishing and read that finesse tubes like the Gitzit is one of the best baits for smallies. I assume a tube jig but what are some ways to present the bait? Thanks
  20. You and me both buddy.
