  1. If you could carry 6 spinnerbaits to cover as many situations as possible what would they be? Color, blade combinations and weight.
  2. I use the Trilene Knot for every line to lure no matter the line type. Double uni for tying leaders.
  3. Senko Finesse worm Kvd 1.5 Spinnerbaits UV speed worm Swim jig Jig Sexy Dawg Frog Tube
  4. Based on the suggestions on this post I settled for the new Abu Garcia Ambassadeur SX. Thanks to all. Can't wait to try it out!
  5. Any kayak dealer should be able to help then. Worst case call the manufacturer
  6. Hooks, weights, soft plastics and a few new hard baits. That's about how far I can narrow it down.
  7. Try the dealership where you bought the ride. They should be able to order it for you.
  8. Strawberry Pop-Tarts before a tournament. Any other flavor and I don't seem to do as well. LOL
  9. I have a new Alabama Rig (7'6" Heavy) rod and was wondering what reel to compliment with it. Because of the weight of the lure I was curious if I would be risking my setup by pairing it with something like a Abu Silver Max or Pro Max. Would I tear up the bearings on that if I rigged this up using an Alabama Rig? Would I be better suited to pair it up with something stronger/more expensive?
  10. I never used it but it's worth playing with. I would be concerned about the hook sliding too much when trying to set the hook. This could be minimized with a light wire hook and making sure it's extra sharp. Only way to know for sure is to try it. I'm down to test it once I get water to fish again.
  11. You can't go wrong with Braid. Especially Power Pro which is my favorite. As others mentioned add a FC leader if you feel it's necessary. I prefer Seaguar InvizX for that application.
  12. Never saw the tube stuffed with another plastic. Interesting ...
  13. While I like the braid to FC leader I fight myself over this all the time mainly because of what you mentioned. I hate taking the time to tie a leader on the boat during a tournament. Feels like such as waste of time no matter how good I get at doing it.
  14. ^^^^ Ding, ding, ding ... Winner. Look for steep dropoffs, ledges etc.
  15. 1/2oz Red Eye shad in Chartreuse Baitfish. Just bought the Yellow Perch. Can't wait to try it out this next season!
  16. As a simple "Rule of thumb" I tend to gravitate more towards appendages/ribbontails the warmer the water gets. The colder the more subtle I like my plastics to be. Example Colder waters - Chunk trailer on a jig vs Warm waters - Rage Craw on a silicone jig
  17. I buy custom finesse worms with no salt. Works great
  18. Lol. I would never thought to use it on a Drop shot. Very cool.
  19. I back all my reels with an inexpensive mono and then fill the remainder of the spool with my line of choice.
  20. Tree magnet for sure ... LOL
  21. I am starting with diet and strictly cardio. Eventually my walks will become a 5k. I will also add weights in time.
  22. Another vote for the Spinshot. I use #1's.
  23. Keep it up bud!
