I'm not worried about having a team. I'm just a fan. I actually could care less whether or not OU wins or loses. I actually created the name jbsoonerfan back in 2000 when I was attending the University of Oklahoma. I had to pick a name that nobody else had, so this is what I came up with. It has just kind of stuck since, it is never in use and I can use the same one on every forum. If you will notice, I have not once bragged on OU or anything of the sort. I'm just a regular guy who happens to like a school. I suppose you wouldn't know what that is like because you are an SEC fan who pretty much lives through your team(or conference) of choice. Back when I started really watching college football (1988 ish) I wasn't aware LSU even had a team. In fact, LSU was TERRIBLE till the 2000's, but that's just how stupid you guys are. You want to hang your hat on 2 NC's in the last 50 years. If you want to get all technical about it, OU, Bama, USC and ND are the kings of college football, but I have NEVER brought up the past (or the present for that matter) You can continue to be a delusional LSU fan and I will continue to be a casual OU fan. You Sir are the one who makes yourself look like a fool every time your fingers hit the keyboard. Now, go look up some stupid statistics that further prove your point of how great LSU is without winning anything meaningful. Every time an SEC fan posts, it just further proves my point. I was at the OU/Bama game in Norman in 2003 and the Bama people were great, probably a reason there aren't a bunch of Bama guys in here running their mouth. Just a bunch of guys hoping Bama wins another NC so they can chant SEC, SEC, SEC, like a bunch of morons.

I like the thread as well. He gave it to me a little, I gave it back a little. Is this the first grade where people are gonna get their feelings hurt. I could have said "Typical SEC fan, just another dork" I don't really see the difference. They can just delete my post, not the whole thread.

I've been all over the country and Oklahoma is actually much better than some of the places I have visited. I like Texas and Colorado as well. Of course I'm sure you have never been to Oklahoma, it's easy to talk bad about a place when you can't see past your liver becuse your head is so far up your a**. Typical SEC fan, just another D-Bag.

It's Georgia
Lol. Did I ever mention OU? I have never bragged on OU, so I don't know why you said that. Its just funny to me when an SEC game is 13-10 its because of the amazing defense, but when its 41-38 its because of the amazing offense. What gives?

It's Georgia
Lol. Two dynamic offenses? I thought the mighty SEC was known for dynamic defenses. I guess that's just another example of blind SEC fans.

I knew I could count on Catt to throw out more useless numbers than one can imagine. Bottom line is Saban put LSU on the map. Now, you don't like him because he left. So you probably had to throw all your Nick Saban fan club stuff away and get all new Les Miles fan club stuff. Nothing like a scorned lover. LSU 2005 11-2 Not even an SEC championship 2006 11-2 Not even an SEC championship 2007 11-2 SEC & BCS champion Might as well not even have mentioned 2005 & 2006. Once again trying to use numbers that don't equal championships is pointless.

I heard about that on the local sports radio. Not a good sign for OU fans. He just flat out wins wherever he goes. Cheating or not, I'm not saying he does, but the guy knows how to win. I don't blame an LSU fan for wanting him gone. Y'all were never worth a dime until he came along, and you haven't been worth a dime since. BTW, don't give me some random stats about this that or the other like you guys try to do. BCS championships are all that matter and without him, you have as many as I do as a head coach. BTW, Miles won with Sabans recruits so don't try to give the mad hatter the credit.

Beginner Compound Bow
Also, let me add this. Go into a Pro Shop FIRST, introduce yourself and ask if they can help you out. Tell them you are just getting started and explain to them that you don't want to spend a lot of money and ask them if they might have anything in your price range. They "should" measure your draw length, and maybe let you fling a couple arrows to see what # you would be comfortable with. If they don't have anything for you, politely ask if you were to find a bow on the internet, would they be able to help you get it set up. Then ask about any fees that may come along with the set up. Do not just walk in and ask to measure your draw length so you can go to the internet and buy a bow. I know a lot of shop owners hate to see someone bring in an old POS and want it tuned up and ready to shoot because everyone suggested they buy a bow off the internet. Some guys will set up a bow for free if you buy from them or they might not stick it to you if you at least attempt to give them your business first. However, some guys will put it to you on set up fees if you bring in something you bought off the internet. Maybe that's not the way it should be, but that is they way it is.

A used bow can be a great starter bow. However, make CERTAIN that you are buying something that fits you. The reason I suggested the Genesis is because it will fit anyone and if you don't plan on hunting it would be something that would just be fun to shoot in the backyard. I have seen many people get a "good deal" on a used bow. Then they figure out the draw length is wrong and they need to put new cams on it (most older bows won't use modules) Sometimes you are looking at $50 - $75 for that + shop labor. I have also seen some that the string/cables need replaced, another $50 or so + shop labor. I have owned 20 + bows in the last 8 years and all but 4 of them I bought used. However, I know how to work on a bow and know what I am looking for in a bow.

For just playing around, I would go with a Mathews Genesis. It comes as a package with arrows. Here, I found a link http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=22397136&camp=CSE:GooglePLA:22397136:16750288:ARCHERY-&gsidynamic=GooglePLA-_-ARCHERY-_-ARCHERY-_-SKU-16750288

Architects
When I was working in the flooring business it seemed as though the GC was usually the biggest A-hole of the bunch. Mainly because he thought he knew how it should be done and the architect was pretty sure he knew it would work.

- Who Was The Best Running Back
Funny how someone can ask a question with 2 choices and everyone decides to throw out random names. He didn't ask who the best RB ever was. He asked about two specific backs. I didn't get to watch Campbell as he was before my time, but based off everything I have heard and read, it seems as though he was a better back than Bo.- Time To Stir The Pot!
Happens everywhere- Parenting 101
I have told my son(who is 8) that if he is picked on, it's better to punch someone in the face first than to be the one that's picked on. I teach in a middle school and I have heard so many kids talk about being picked on that it is not even funny. These are the same kids that kill themselves, or bring a gun to school and kill others. Most of the time, turning the other cheek is what should be done if it is a one time deal. But, if it is a repeating occurrence, a good punch in the nose can teach a lesson. I was picked on by this one kid in elementary. Finally one day he kicked me in the nuts. I punched him in the nose and he cried like a little girl. I didn't have another problem again till JH and a new kid came to school. Decided he would pick on me to try to make friends. One punch to the nose and he never bothered me again. I haven't been in a fight in 20 years and haven't even felt the need to. I have been in some situations at bars that most people would have got in a fight, but it was just a one time deal. However, being picked on over a period of time is different story. I think a one-time pinch is a turn the other cheek, but if it happens again, maybe a punch to the nose is warranted.- Time To Stir The Pot!
The ACC must be INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! LOL- Time To Stir The Pot!
I guess I wouldn't be classified as die hard. Come deer season when it is during the rut, if an OU game happens to fall during a time when I think I should be in the woods, I will just skip the game and hunt.- Time To Stir The Pot!
I was a season ticket holder before Stoops came along. I have seen some BAD football on Owen Field. I probably used the term WE when I was a kid because I really didn't know any better. Now that I am grown up I see how silly that term sounds when thrown around like someone is somehow apart of the team. Usually by overweight middle aged drunk guys who played a little bit of football in High School. The same guys that think they can coach better than the head coach. You aren't gonna hurt my feelings talking bad about OU. SEC fans are the only ones I know who get their feelings hurt when you say something bad about their team (or conference) but those are the same ones that use the term "we"- Time To Stir The Pot!
I didn't choke. I didn't ever play at OU, just a fan. I don't use the term "we" when talking about OU as I was never apart of the team.- The Road To The Super Bowl
I dislike Peyton Manning, but a QB doesn't need to be mobile when they can throw the ball. When you have a QB who can't throw the ball, he better have wheels (MIke Vick)- Football?
It's about safety. Lightning is not something to mess with. I am a baseball coach and I use and app on my phone that will tell me how close lightning is. When it is within 6 miles, game is stopped. I know most people are "tough" an it is so far away, but it isn't worth the risk. - Who Was The Best Running Back
