LOL! Good thing they joined a weak conference. They made it to the big 12 championship twice and came up short. LOL! So, I guess all of those who think the Big 12 is weak should consider this as a slap in the face.

The funny thing is, Missouri couldn't compete in the Big 12 and they join the "mighty" SEC and all of the sudden they have a chance to win the SEC championship. Assuming they can hold off another former Big 12 team in A&M. Lol, funny how things work.

I have some man-boobs, which is why I don't take my shirt off in public. When I was 19-21 I took some things that I probably shouldn't have and I was stacked. Then I quit taking those things, quit working out and my pecks turned into boobs. I have lost weight, but the boobs still remain. Oh well, it is what it is.

Why would he leave Bama? More money, weaker conference, no conf title game, McCarron is a Sr, easier to recruit, etc, etc, etc. Plus, he prob feels sorry for the rest of the SEC since he has pretty much owned the conf since he has been in it. Might as well give someone else a chance and go dominate the Big 12.

I will be cooking two breasts this year. I will brine them for 30-40 hours and inject them. I will smoke them for 5-6 hours depending on look and temp. I will finish cooking them in the oven with a butter soaked cheese cloth wrapped around them. I will do all of this on Wednesday. Thursday morning I will slice the breasts and put them in a foil roaster pan. I will season and spray with butter and cook at 125 degrees for about 2 hours. Last year was the first year I attempted this method and it was a success.

Finally connected on a buck after 3 long years of waiting on a "TV deer" I decided I would try to shoot one of the biggest deer on my property. I sealed the deal on this guy last night at 6:00. It was a 20 yard slight quartering away shot. Shot was perfect. He ran about 60 yards, did the wobble and fell dead. Not the biggest buck in the world, but I am happy with him. Well, looks like I was right about the SEC having to hope that once again they can ride the coat tails of Alabama. I guess that isn't a bad thing though. Especially when you are of the mentality that "when one of us wins, we all win"

Just guessing here, but I would think "Up North" and "Down South" would have something to do with how one looks at a map. North is always up and South is always down. I would guess "Back East" would come from back when people were migrating and moving west across the US. The vast majority of them were actually from the East, so they would probably say "Back East" when referring to the East coast. I think "Out West" might come from the same era when people were traveling across the US. I figure the term "Headed Out West" was used quite often and it more than likely stuck. I have never claimed to be real smart, so those may not be accurate, just my best guesses.

I always thought the Dirty South was a reference that was used by rap artists that came from the south. I think I remember Arrested Development, Outkast, and Ludacris specifically using the term. I've also heard it used to describe a woman's woohoo.

Yep, there is going to be a team get the short end of the stick. Might be FSU, could be Ohio State, or it could be Baylor. However, I think if Bama and Oregon stay undefeated, it will be them two in the NC.

I think the playoff is going to come a year late. It looks like it may be needed this year more than ever. I know there is still a lot of season left, but I have a feeling someone is going to be "left out" this year.

7 out of the last 10 years the Team with home field afvantage has won the WS. However, 6 out of the last 10 years the team with the better record won the WS. Interestingly enough, the 4 years where the team with the best record DIDN'T win the series, they didn't have home field advantage.

A silly exhibition game shouldn't carry so much weight. However, they were both 97-65 in regular season, and didn't meet in interleague play.
