I have faced humility so many times in my life that I cannot begin to tell you one specific time. I think we all want to feel good about ourselves. Some view it as cockiness while others view it as confidence. I believe that confidence is a good thing. However, that confidence sometimes turns to cockiness and then reality puts us back in our place.

Posting from my phone with a shattered screen. I upgraded in Oct and shattered the screen two weeks later. Guess I will deal with it for another year and a half.

The SEC must not be too difficult. Mizzou only played for a Big 12 title twice and both times they had it handed to them by OU. They then play for the SEC title in just their second season. Granted the top 3-4 teams are good year in and year out, but the rest of the league pretty much sucks.

Who won that OU/Bama game? Go chant SEC elsewhere!!!!!! Lol!!!!!

Do you keep the note 3 in your murse? When I upgraded, there was no way I could put the note 3 in my pocket. I don't see how anyone who does anything could even carry one on them.

I hear you. Thanksgiving was the first without my uncle and it was tough. My 8 yr old son actually broke down because "Uncle Doug" was gone. I'm sure Christmas will be tough as well. However, I am thankful for those that I still have. As I get older I realize how important it is to spend time with those you love because once they are gone, there are no second chances.

I love mine! I teach students ages 11 - 18 and I get the opportunity each and every day to be a positive male role model in their life. That may not sound like much, but most of these students need some sort of positive role model in their life. I get to coach the sports I love and not one day is ever the same. I also get a little time off in the summer to fish. I wouldn't trade my job for anything.

Don't get all butt hurt over the deal. How about you go try some different bourbons for yourself to see how you like them. If I want to know who makes the best fried chicken I would think I would go try them and make my own decision. I suppose that is too difficult for others to comprehend. Btw, if you have to ask, you probably should get out more.

It probably taste like most other Bourbons. Just close your eyes or mix it with something and you will never know the difference.

I hate to play devils advocate here. But, I will say the same thing about Bourbon as I do beer. I would be willing to bet that most of you couldn't tell the difference from one to the other if you didn't know what you were drinking. I am talking about actual Bourbon here, not charcoal filtered. I have tried to bet my buddies hundreds of dollars to take two light beers and pour 20 drinks and if they can guess all 20 correct I would pay them 10 to 1 to my bet. No one will ever take the bet, yet they all claim to have their favorite beer and they claim to know what is junk. I would be willing to bet the same is true with Bourbon.

Saban doesn't owe Alabama anything. Why should he stay? He put LSU on the football map and moved on. He brought Alabama back from the dead and made them the team to beat. I think both of those programs owe more to him for thier success than anything else. Why shouldn't he go to Texas and try his hand at winning a NC there and becoming the first to win one at 3 different schools? He could prove he is one of, if not the best coach in college football history. If Bama wants to stay at the top they better come up with some major coin to keep him there. If not, I don't blame him for leaving.

Residents of Alabama might disagree with that. Especially if NC's is the most important thing.

Well, looks like OU might get to take another beating in a BCS game. I don't know why they would get put in there. They don't deserve to go. Bama may rush for 600 yards. OU prob still won't know who to play at QB. Oh well, it is what it is.

I'm assuming her story made about as much sense then as it does now. I would hope if I walked in to the PD and said ol Root beer raped me, you would want an investigation before being arrested. This young lady got drunk, had sex and had a bf. She felt bad and claimed she was raped.
