Talk About A Lack Of Respect...
There are many public courses in OK and around the country that are on state property and maintained by the state. However, they are protected from public use when a MAJOR event is being held on them. I don't see why a lake is any different. If anyone gets their panties in a knot because they aren't allowed on the water for a few days then they need to get a life. These events are how these pros make a living, no sense in letting a bunch of D-Bags interfere with their opportunity to do their job.

Who Ya Got?!
I should have got in and picked an all Okie team.

Talk About A Lack Of Respect...
I agree, but the US Open is sometimes played on public courses. However, the course isn't open to the public during the tourn.

Talk About A Lack Of Respect...
Totally ridiculous that people are allowed on the water with the pros. You should have to have credentials to be on the water.

Typical Sponsorship
I will probably get the dreaded WARNING POINT for this, but oh well. I have went through this many times on Archery forums where everyone wants to be "sponsored" or on "staff." I view most of it as being a big JOKE. Kind of like welfare for your hobby. I don't know why any company would offer anyone other than a professional angler a full sponsorship. Trust me, you really aren't doing any major company a favor by being a good salesman (don't pat yourself on the back too hard, it may hamper your fishing ability). If you aren't on the Elite series, chances are no one cares what you use. In fact, I'm not sure being the best angler in the world even matters. Don't believe me? How often do you hear Quantum recommended on any fishing forum? Fishing and archery are about the only things that companies offer these ridiculous "positions" to people. I have never heard of the local YMCA baller getting a Nike deal. Keep on thinking that any company owes you anything. Become a professional angler and you will have some room to talk. That being said, I couldn't tell you one item that Randall Tharp uses.

Watch Your Ups Man Carefully
My UPS lady loves me (I just get that vibe), so I have nothing to worry about. I have the feeling she just hopes I am home when she has a package to deliver.

Curado G Series
I used them last year and never had a single problem with them. I really find it funny how US fisherman try to find a reason to say something negative about a reel based on perception without using them. I am mainly talking about people who hold one in their hand once or twice and give the handle a spin or two. If they are too light, people claim they "feel cheap" and must have inferior parts. However, if they are too heavy people act as if they are a "clunker" and you may have to have shoulder surgery after throwing the extra ounce all day. If you actually use a reel, most of the reels made these days are great reels. I have owned Curado D, E, G series', Citica D, G, E series', Chronach 50Mg, E, Core 100, 50, Steez's, Zillion's, All the Revo's and I can tell you of the 100+ reels I have ever owned, I have never had a problem with any of them. Some of them palm better than others, or cast better than others, or feel better on the retrieve than others....but as far a problems, I have had ZERO. In fact I just got my Daiwa Tatulas in yesterday and took one to the pond today. I LOVED the reel. 90mm swept handle with power knobs and smooth as butter. However, that is my opinion and my personal preference. We all tend to like different things and for different reasons. I am just glad that companies are making GREAT products that are very affordable.

Recessed Trolling Motor Tray?
I can understand that. I felt pretty confident in my abilities so it never crossed my mind to have it done somewhere else. I called a boat shop about having tilt/trim blinker installed because I wasn't sure how hard that would be and they wanted $165 labor to do that. I did that myself as well and it too was easy.

Recessed Trolling Motor Tray?
I installed one in a 96 Stratos and it was simple. I can understand not wanting to do something for fear that you may ruin your boat, but it really is a simple procedure.

Tournament Help
Okay guys. I know some of you are successful tournament anglers so I have a few questions for you. First of all, this will be my third year fishing a tourney trail. My partner and I are great friends so we tend to try what ever works best. That being said, when you are fishing a tourney, are you and the other guy throwing different type of baits? For example...A spinner bait and a crank bait, or a jig and a worm? Also, are you fishing baits that require you to stay in one area for a long period of time...Soft plastic and jig? Do you mix and match.....soft plastic and lipless crank bait? Just trying to figure out a method to the madness. We usually tend to fish the same things at the same time due to how much water we are covering, but I am thinking maybe we need to change things up a little. I would appreciate any insight you guys could give me on how to attack a body of water with two people trying to land fish. Thanks, JB

Any Interest In The New Shimano Curado 200/201 I?
I have been a Shimano guy for years and I was anxious for the I series to come out. However, I found a heck of a deal and got 4 Daiwa Tatulas for $400 brand new, so I guess I have switched teams, lol. I was at BPS yesterday and the guy at the reel counter said the G series would be $99 starting the 1st of March.

Cod Ghost Or Bf4 For Ps3??
I feel your pain. This new game pretty much sucks with all the snipers and thermals. I really like kill confirmed, but when you get those guys with the same clan tags that get put on the same team and they just camp and snipe, it isn't even worth playing. Sometimes I have to join 4 or 5 different lobbies just to find a lobby where there are actually playing.

College Football National Signing Day
Never said I wasn't a fan. Just not a die hard fan. The success or failure of Oklahoma football doesn't impact my life either way.

Did I say anything about Oklahoma? That's okay, I have read enough of your posts to know that reading comprehension isn't one of your strong points.

College Football National Signing Day
Yet again Alabama seems to have the best recruiting class in the country (for what it's worth I guess). Yet somehow, all the other SEC fans still want them to compete for the NC every year. Must be in the water down there. Just aren't real bright college football fans when they don't understand how the whole dynamics of success works. Of course, when you root for a conference, I can understand how you wouldn't really care if your team is successful or not, I mean you have 13 others to fall back on.

Who Else Drives A Big 4X4...? I Have A 91' Gmc Burban' Started Life As A 2Wd 1500
- For Truck Guys
Since it is an HD you will have a better chance than you would with a 1500. I had 33x12.50's on my 1500 and they rubbed pretty bad and that was after trimming. It too was leveled. However, I think that 05 HD sits up a little higher. I put a 5" lift on my truck and went to a 305/55 and it clears just fine now. I will probably go to a 295/65 when I get my next set of tires.- Who Else Drives A Big 4X4...? I Have A 91' Gmc Burban' Started Life As A 2Wd 1500
