honestly i cant rem if it was before or after.. a good buddy of mine fishes there and the hot wall a good bit

they drained the lower section because the one lock gate was leaking pretty bad, they were fixing it...i have caught some in the upper section right there though, where that little stream comes out..

it was actually just her..lol she went up by big pool then swung by kemps mill...i work nights so i was in bed

the mojo bass is more than MH, its stiff and its not balanced very well

i returned my revo 3 and picked up a lews bb1, love the bb1 ! feels much nicer than the SX to me and def casts farther and smoother..

well yea id run on a nice trolling motor there, still shouldnt be to bad.. i have waded around up there a decent bit

really? i know its low in spots ... what kind of boat do you have?

have you googled areas to fish around there? i usually look at google maps and look for bodies of water... looking near you bald eagle state park looks good or walker lake, faylor lake and or course raystown lake is a big one

i just picked one up from TW and i gotta say it feels great in hand.. much more balanced than the new vendetta's and the mojo bass i recently returned to get the savvy... its easily the best rod ive handled .. i havent tried rods over $200 So i cant speak for more expensive rods but from the research i did to lead me to buy one they are one of the best rods you can get in that price range....

ive read many many tech articles from pro's about how the with there being more guides and sitting closer to the blank that there is a nice increase in sensitivity , along with cutting down on line slap while casting which cuts down on the possibility of bird nesting and helping casting distance...

i had these exact issues with the new vendetta rods.. i think abu has quality issues.. part of the reason i returned them and now have a Dobyns Savvy micro guide rod

micro guides are more advanced, wouldnt hurt if you really wanted them, if you look in the sales flyer they have a NIce KVD quantum baitcast combo on special for $99 thats normally $189

yea ive been off since around the same time... and no one really hires at the end of the year so now im really looking harder, have good lead that i have an interview for thurs in winchester... so hopefully it pans out side note i changed up my new gear, i decided that i dont need 2 setups right now since i mainly fish from shore, and there was a reel that cabelas just started to carry that i had really wanted to try.. so this weekend me and a buddy made a trip to Bass pro then up to cabelas.. returned my 2 abu garcia setups and picked up a St Croix MOJO BASS rod and one of the new Lew's BB1 speed spools... first time at cabelas and i gotta say its Freaking HUGE!! and their aquarium is WAY nicer than BP
