  1. 50# plus braid with a bead and a Spro swivel as said. 10-12# flouro leader. 2/0 hook and Elaztech Zman nose hooked. Carolina keepers dont hold my 1 oz plus weights very well and wont allow two different line weights types.
  2. Wacky Senko Fat Ika Tube Ned rig. Jigs are tough for me anyway unless very light.
  3. I like my Quantum Team KVD Med Crankin rod. Soft tip to cast a light crank but alot of backbone.
  4. Plenty of the original pattern available. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-HEDDON-ZARA-SPOOK-LURE-BABY-BASS-USED-/142437612919?hash=item2129f17d77:g:dlQAAOSwjRpZXnUP
  5. Yes. I think I have a tutorial in Luremaking section
  6. Original Bill Lewis, Red Eye Shad, Xcal XRK50 and LC LV500.
  7. Go deeper with a Drop shot or Carolina rig.
  8. The 7' will sling even the lighter Neds no prob.
  9. There are more than one KVD Triple grip. Ones you get for cheap are not that great. But when you are selling baits people see that name and think its good. The KVD's in the smaller packs have a different hook technology and are much better. Opti-angle needlepoint, chemically sharpened, black nickel finish
  10. What length bait and depth you lookin for? I have never found a crank that goes anywhere near what they advertise. Unless maybe trolling 100 feet of 2# test. I can add images to you old Rapalas like this if interested.
  11. So they look and sound identical? I have used the originals and are great but pricey now. ty
  12. Anyone tried the new Buyah lipless one knockers compared to the old Xcaliburs XRK's? ty
  13. LC Staycee is my choice but only goes about 8-10'. River to Sea Fetch I think its called too. Berkely Flicker Shad. Live Target Shad. How deep are you lookin to go?
  14. Simmple enough.
  15. Call them and complain. They might throw a new lure your way
  16. Thanks all. Fun Hobby. Genuine Spit'n Image, DT10 KO, Little John KO, Genuine Red Eye Shad.
  17. The 40 size and even the big 50 size Spro Rats have been workin very well on the bass this year early mornin. We have Muskeats here
  18. buy the jig hooks and hitch hiker seperately and make your own. Mustad hook #91768 This guy has good prices http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_ssn=mikelmb44&item=182596437323&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313.TR1.TRC0.A0.H0.X91768.TRS1&_nkw=91768&_sacat=0
  19. Ya my friends daughter in law had her first baby and she fishes Pearl white. I forgot to take pics after the clear. Pretty amazing the way this inexpensive Cannon printer works
  20. Great job! What epoxy du you use?
  21. Thanks all. Fun hobby and I'm learning more everyday. There are some amazing artist out there
  22. Prob with suspending baits is hook weight is a big factor. I found Pointer 100sp suspend well. Better in cold water. 110's are slow risers I believe. Pointers go a lil deeper than 110's so I switch depending on depth. Never thru an STX.
