  1. I will sometimes use a baby craw on 1/8-1/4 oz jigs. Normally a 3.75-4" though. Never tried a Lobster
  2. Walk, pop, or both? Threw it today for first time. I was impressed by its walking ability. I threw it and let sit a few secs. Started with some light pops and pause. Then some bigger pops and walked it back in. What do you find works best?
  3. Some states it is illegal to use sunfish as bait.
  4. I wouls Drop shot or Bubba shot depending on your target fish, depth, and current.
  5. If you dont add the rear BB's at all it will be too light and different action. You would need a weight substitute glued in.
  6. I would go with Basshunter on LC http://www.luckycraft.com/luckycrafthome/Products/crankbait/LVRTO250.htm
  7. LC would have name on it right?
  8. I lik this deeper suspending squarebill for that. Loud rattles, very snagless and suspends. Stacee's snag too easy http://bakerlures.com/suspending-crankbait-series/
  9. Not sure I would fish it over deep water but shallower should work fine.
  10. Not sure about here but other baitmaking sites do.
  11. Incredible. I would have no fingers left.

  13. Kinda like name brand food and store brands. Some are good and some not so good. Stores like Bass Pro, Acadamy, etc have some very good products and some not so good. I do stay away from South Bend and Matzuo (owned by South Bend) hooks. All crap.
  14. Great job. First of many.
  15. Try Power Pro 8# braid. 1# mono diameter. Awesome line on my ultralight.
  16. They have the old Wiggle Wart hunting action
  17. I have a Little George. I guess that one is easily overlooked. Will try it. Flutter spoon and other spoons did not work. I'll keep at it Thanks
  18. Little "stick bait" info for ya. A "Senko" is only made by Gary Yamamoto. No other name brand or generic stick bait should be called a Senko. Kinda like all stick on bangages are not "Band Aids". Not all tissues are "Kleenex" A Senko has a couple major differences to other sticks. Softer. They almost always are softer than other brands. This gives them that special "shimmy" on fall. The softer ANY bait is makes it less durable. Heavier/sinks faster. Most Senkos are around 11g (more clear colors can be lighter). The salt in any stick is used as ballast to make it sink. Senkos use more salt then other brands. The plastic does not bond to the salt and make the bait less duable. Sticks come in many shapes. Skinnier, fatter, hex, etc. This obviously effects action. I am not a believer in scent, but some are so this could be considered a factor. If they dont come pre-scented you can add your favorite yourself. After many years of fishing sticks, I have never found color to be a major factor, as long as the fish can see it. However I always agree that if a color gives YOU confidence then it is a plus. Lately us hand injectors have pretty much perfected the original GYBC Senko recipe using salt, and a modified one that uses silicone sand (fine glass beads) as ballast insted of salt. The plastic seems to bond to the sand and actually makes the plastic more durable. A GYBC licensed Senko mold is also now available. I doubt the major companies will catch on a a more durable bait equals less sales. The sand also is abrasive and hard on the equipment.
  19. Regular 5 or xd?
  20. Thanks all. I sold off most of my deep cranks as they just didnt produce for me. The suspended fish I am targeting dont hit anything so I doubt a crank will help. Played video game fishing with a drop shot (bass and small baits in case they are perch), jigs, spoons, silver buddy etc. Possibly could be shad as they shocked numerous 12"+ gizzard shad in the spring. I have a DT10, Old Bomber suspending Fat free shad, and an unknown big bill prob 15' diver.
  21. So fish are suspended just above Thermocline at about 13'. What is smmallest bodies crank that will run that depth on a long cast. I use 20# power pro.
  22. What K-mac said. I have had + wires burn up (literally) from not bein tight. Load test on deep cycle batteries does not work properly. Voltage shows your amount of charge left. Fully charged should be near 13v
  23. I leave my gas motor on the back and leave it down. Tough to controle boat using the front TM if the gas moror is not down and acting as a rudder to keep you straight.
  24. Skipping docks with Senkos
  25. I prob use 2% of whats in my box. I need to clear out the dead weight.
