Try a 1/8 jig. It similar to fishing a weightless Senko.

Help Me Find A Second 'go-To' Bait
Since no electronics I assume you are fishing fairly shallow near the shore May I also assume you are using a jig head with exposed hook? My first change would be to go weedles/snagless. Either with a Texas rig or a hook/jighead with a weedguard. Get into the heavy brush, logs, weeds etc that you may be afraid to throw into now. I use a weightless 5" stick bait knockoff wacky style with an o-ring or shrink tube. Second is a Rage craw on a rage rig. Light as possible. I use 1/8,3/16, or 1/4 twistloc hooks for shallows. Both skip well on spinning gear. Skip it right up to the bank under docks and tree limbs.

Resin Molds
Yes full round you will need a two part mold. If not too fancy and no curly tail you may be able to hand pour it. If not injection is needed.

Resin Molds
That one will be simple to make and pour as an open pour mold. Make the back (top of bait) flat and pour through that.

Ima Roumba
Had this bait and never threw it until today. Got out a little late so topwater bite was over. Still managed to call up a small bass. Action on this "wake" bait is like no other. It stays on top at any speed and basically wobbles and walks the dog with a steady retrive. Definitely will throw it more in better conditions.

Making Worms
Yes you cook it right into the plastic. There are special scents sold that are designed for this. They CAN NOT be water based.

Weedless Hooks Worse At Avoiding Weeds Then Regular Hooks?
Not sure any hook will help bring a wack stick through weeds. I also only fish wacky (no weeds here) but would fish texas if we had them.

Clear Senkos!!
Regular senkos and sticks use salt to add weight so the bait sinks. That tends to cloud the plastic. Core shots (center diferent color can not be done easily with multi cavity molds. Not many try foil inside. I never tried it.

Clear Senkos!!
Fished them this morning for a few hours before it got too hot. Caught 7 small bass skipping under docks and branches. Wacky rigged with single o-ring. Bait sank and shimmied just like a real senko. Only used one bait and still looks like new. I dont fish them Texas so not sure how they would last that way.

Clear Senkos!!
I'm showing this to show that it it now possible to get a fairly clear bait that sinks and is as soft as a real Senko. Something that was impossible for anyone or any company to do before. I would not neccesarily fish it clear like that, although as you said I have been making them with different color glitter that really shine and sparkle great.

Crazy Colors
Just shows that color and matching the hatch is not that important. What counts is that the fish can see it.

Clear Senkos!!
This new saltless formula will allow fairly clear baits that show glitter well. Same size, weight, sink rate, and softness as a real one. Durability test are underway. Sorry but I do not sell them. Thanks to Baitjunkys and Wally for initial recon

Gamakatsu Short Shank Treble Hook Users ?
Yes, in most cases. Just make sure they dont tangle. Just be carefull with suspending baits as you want the replacements to weigh the same.

How Squarebills Work.
