Hand injected 702 craw is best craw I have used. Amazing action and more durable. This looks just like the craw Papi but the bulbous tips on the craw makes them swim like a paddletail swimbait. Rage is very good too and a Baby Paca with less action in winter

I like the Baker suspending but have been digging the more shallow running H2O CRS lately

So is that bullet head NOT weighted?

Caufgt 14 15-16" today on this same setup shallow. I'm really liking it with the light weight. I was addicted to Senkos but this might be my new go to.

Yes that particular hook is a 3/0 and the weight is 1/16. I used this light a weight this time of year when the fish are very shallow or undere shallow docks. The 3/0 hook matches the hook slot on this particular bait so it is weedless/snagless. You can go to 1/8 or 3/16 or 1/4 if you need it to go deeper.

Works great when Bass are bustin the little shad in early Summer

So water temp is 58* and fish are right on the bank and at the end of coves in 1' of water. I rigged up a 1/16 swimbait hook on a homemade 702 craw that I used to make. Worked great in the brush on the shore. Fell nice and slow (more horizontal) with the claws flapping. Basically fished it like a Senko. Fish were gobbling it and hookup % was very good. Any craw like a Rage, Paca, Chigger, etc will work well. Give it a try in real shallow water. They also skip great under docks.

Got Rayban Wraparounds about 5 years ago. Very comfortable. Stay tight. Dont scratch easy. Awesome for driving and dashboard glare. Best investment I have made. See fishfinders fine.

Wrong. Storm on thr lip is the later ones and NOT Pre-Rapala. The standard size are most desireable and current market price on them is about $10. The Magnum are not worth that much, maybe $5. Not sure about the smaller ones.

Fish are moving up shallow today finally. Was playin with a CRS in the red colors and did real well. It stays fairly shallow. Was able to throw it righ up to the bank and it came through the nasty stuff no prob. Wacked it on some docks and rocks and it stayed true no prob. As good as any squarebill I have threow. Give it a try

I like the big Colorado for slow rolling Deep. Lots of vibration. Good for night. Willow comes hrough weeds better and can be burned faster and more flash

Buddy and did a full service on our old reels today. Only took about 3 hours to do six 201's. Really easy to do following this Youtube Vid. So dont be afraid and save 30 bucks or so per reel.
