mustad makes some good ones that won't break the bank. i also like owner st's which are a little higher, but not by a large margin.

i only do if the skirt has a long "tail". as in part of the skirt is longer than the rest of it, if so i trim to meet the rest of the skirt, but that's it. you trim it too much and it flares out too far for my liking.

top 2 on the right and bottom left all look like koppers live targets to me. they all have little "arms" in the front/mid section which is pretty standard on the live targets. top left looks like a spro bronzeye popper not 100% sure on the others, but bottom right may also be a spro bronzeye, regular.

i use 4 lb, but that's just me. i'm usually targeting some smaller mountain stream trout so not too worried about the 4lb test being too light.

i do in fact like the Arkie, but Mike said he's discontinuing them in favor of the dock rocker. So i decided to go ahead and try these dock rockers out since they were discounted and i needed some more jig heads. and yeah, it is a lot of fun to dress them up!
