Whats The Best Rod For This Application?
To add I know Berkley has the lightening rod series. They are around $37.99 and the cherry wood series which is 27.99. Is there better than these?

Whats The Best Rod For This Application?
First off fishing was decent this year Now, I'm looking towards ice fishing! Getting cold here. As I look towards building my arsenal for next year, I need some help. I want a Spinning rod(s) versatile for catching all these fish on same rod: Panfish, Crappie, Rainbow/Brown Trout (Up to 3 pounds), and LGM/SM Bass. I want it to be sensitive, light (preferably Ultra Lt or light), and strong. I want these 3 rods to be around/or 6' tall because I want to have some rod to cast further out into water from bank. I need one for using medium/light lures such as Rooster tails, Mepps, and jigs. I need two for using bobbers and jigs on them. I would love these to be 1 pc (don't like two pc ones) and I'd love to not spend over 60 on each one but would go up to 100 bucks on each one if I had to. Looking for the best rod(s) for these applications. Your help is appreciated!

Need Help With Tungsten Screw-In Weight For T-Rig
Im using the Bullet Weights Tungsten Screw-In Worm Weights for T-Rig on trip tomorrow. I need help on how these bullet weights screw-in to the worm? I tried them over weekend and it looked bad lol. Fairly new to these weights. I fished with toothpick in weight but thought these might save time. Any one have picture how these are rigged? Anyone tell me in steps how to configure these weights into the plastic bait? Link to the weights I bought a few months ago: http://www.basspro.com/Bullet-Weights-Tungsten-Screwin-Worm-Weights/product/90022/ Thanks for your help... Need help ASAP going on trip tomorrow.

Help Getting A Lake Map
I don't know if this is the right forum. A mod can move if its in wrong area. Sorry if it is. Your trip to Pickwick looks awesome but had my trip planned before. Taking my father to Lake Guntersville Alabama. I seen you guys went last year and had success. Taking my father as a father son trip. Any ideas where I can get a detailed map of the lake? Maybe from a website.. I want to know where structure is or drop offs. I know u can get that off a finder when fishing but want to study before I go like Mike Iacanelli does. Any idea on map and where to get one from? Ill pay for one if I have to. Thanks for your help.

Scum Frog Or Spro Frog?
id say Spro frogs are good... I own the popper version and I love it! BUT since LIVE target frog come out.... This frog is real deal. Ive caught more bass on the live target than spro and scum frog. Id say this... Spro has more weight than live target and scum making it able to cast further. The thing I like about kopper live target frog is the softness. Overall any frog you get, you better get a trailor hook. Alot of short strikes happen and with the trailor hook you get over 1/2 of those bass that short strike.

Must Have Baits
One thing to remember is when buying your hooks such as wacky, EWG hooks, Treble Hooks, etc... that you buy a good durable brand. The generic ones will work but over time they will bend and you'll have to replace them. Go the extra mile and save money. Gamataksu, Owner, and Trokar are good brands. Gamataksu are the cheapest out of the three and are sharp and strong. Also with the fishing lures, read around on the posts in this forums. People have some good topic posts on each individual lure. Also make sure you get the lures that will catch fish where you live. Some lures I bought they just sit in box. They sit in box because I Just like buying lures, I'm a tackle junkie.

Best Way To Fish A Worm In Submerged Weeds
I rigged them t-rigged. I caught a 3 1/2 lb Largemouth bass on one in 10 feet of water in the middle summer. They do catch bass.

A-Rig/umbrella Rig
I looked, they look nice wish they had the shad color still.

A-Rig/umbrella Rig
The price difference between the two is around $5.00. Which rig is "better" than the other? Also which baits seem to be the most effective and best for the A-rig/Umbrella Rig? Looking for deadly action in baits on rig. Will be fishing in Alabama using 5 baits and in Illinois on non-DNR lakes that don't have limits of 2 per pole. I know the umbrella rig is on sale at Bps! BUT its sold out! Is there any other deals out there?

Changing Out Hooks
I agree about this from shore. You have obstacles that are all along the shore. Whereas from boat you can go up to obstacle and get your lure. Also like BrettD said he lost a 8 lb. That's the thing that would make me mad the most. Having a better hook to me on my lure makes me more confident.

A-Rig Rules By State
yeah I agree our state has confusing rules. Yeah just fish it in Non DNR lakes LOL. Still happy that we can use it here and its not completely banned in Illinois.

Tube Fishing
I use tubes on rivers, canal, lakes, and ponds. I put jig head inserted into head. I also fish it T rigged weedless when I'm fishing heavy weeds and timber. Though the bass short strike on t rig. Overall tubes produce. There are days the bass want different lures. You have to find out what will be the best producing lure that day.

Yes same here. Store in Peoria, IL had fishing but only like 30% of store was fishing, THEN they decided to have a clearance sale. It was awesome 70% off, but now they changed store to all hunting Oh well never really shop there.
