  1. Question is do you change out the treble hooks on every "brand" you own? An example is Rapala, I hear some people don't change trebles for this lure.
  2. I got a question... What about the Spinners on an A-Rig? Has anyone had a lot of success?
  3. CatchNM im with you too, im a rage-aholic too. Best plastic on the market today. Scent amazing with amazing actions.
  4. I like the strike king rage tubes with coffee scent but would have to go +1 on Mizmo Tubes. I think more so its about the quality instead of the quantity. I like tubes that bass will clamp onto for awhile rather than having 20 tubes that bass will knick at.
  5. Awesome information. I got tubes. I will have to fish them more for smallies. Also got jigs. Will be trying your lure information this year good info thanks. Btw what Small hair jigs you use? I been wanting to try hair jig lures. CPBassFishing: I got some strike king rage craws, those look nice but im going to stick with the rage craws. I like them better. Will try with a standup jighead I bought a pack this year on clearance. Owner standup jigheads. Thanks for the technique.
  6. thanks all for the help!
  7. trying to put it on loosely. I think putting it over eye is right way I should be doing.
  8. thanks I looked through that. Good info.
  9. these look awesome thanks! I like how they look.
  10. I bought a few packs of Gamakastu Trailer Hooks. Sizes 1/0 and 2/0. The medical tubing that it comes with is too big for the hook slides right on and off. I know im doing something wrong, help is needed lol.
  11. I will try a senko too.
  12. This sounds good, will try this.
  13. I fish rivers and Creeks alot for smallmouth bass. The smallmouth bass are finicky and pressured. I usually fish in-line spinners, I have okay luck. I seen on (TFN) The Fishing Network, where they used hair jigs to catch smallmouth. Also the water I fish has lightly colored crawdads. My question is what lure(s) are good for these conditions? Is a jig really good for these conditions? How about plastic/senko style baits?
  14. Yeah I figured what im going to do. on Bag I got a big pouch, im going to keep them in there original bags to keep them scented longer. Thanks for the idea.
  15. I like the blk watermelon flake but the String King Rage Tubes are the best here. The bass love the coffee scent!
  16. thanks ill have to look and see about these.
  17. Yea I got the thin ones, I was able to put 6 in the middle, five stacked in and one on top of them, and able to close. Then the front pouch im able to put another box. I have all the (7) 3700 boxes used up. Im wondering if you can put like a few 3600 boxes on the side pouches??
  18. will keep this bag in mind thanks!
  19. I just bought a bps pro qualifier bag about two weeks ago in fishing classic sale at bps. Thanks for the bag, if I ever need another will look at it. I love the bps pro qualifier bag, I just need boxes. Does this bag fit into the BPS Pro Qualifier bag? I want to just be able to have most of my items in the bag. The bag is very big and roomy. I got room for a worm bag in a side pouch.
  20. Also add this note im looking for a box to hold weights and a few hooks? Anyone know of a utility box that would be good for this application?
  21. Ive been working on a new tackle bag. I bought the BPS Pro Qualifier (red color, that fits 3700 boxes) Im able to put (7) 3700 boxes actually (all plano utility boxes, different ones). In the past ive been using a worm binder from bass pro. Its okay but I want a more versatile binder or box for my plastic baits (such as rage tails, culprits, bps, etc..). Any ideas of what I could use for storing plastic into? I believe if I wanted to I could store maybe (2 or 3) 3600 boxes onto the side pouches. I want to be able to put an average amount of worms into the boxes or binder. Here below is a link of the bag I got. Sorry no picture. http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Extreme-Qualifier-370-Tackle-Bag-or-System/product/10203083/ Thanks for your help!
  22. I like that box also x2 I think I might have to buy a few Also my pops dont have splits either. Like they say, certain lures need splits to work there magic, while other dont. If you look at a speed clip certain lures will work the same using a speed clip without it, while others will not work with a speed clip. A split ring is like the same concept. What I would do is try it with the ring on one day fishing. Perhaps it makes the lure more alive and that the company is just trying to save?
  23. I will send u a pm, are the rivets steel or aluminum?
  24. it freely spins theres enough room for the prop to move up and down just not at much as it would with the smaller pop rivet
  25. would you use the larger one 1/8 mm pop rivet? Or would you buy one thats the exact size of the pop rivet it came with?
