Picked up two of them yesterday at sale. They feel light and amazing. Can’t wait to use them in spring.

For crankbaits I use floro or mono. I want tight wobbles. When I did use braid I noticed how “loose” the wobbles were. It’s definitely makes a difference having the right line. I’d go with floro.

Shad Raps work the best but in a creek the original Rapala would be my Joyce. Shad rap dives deeper would get hung up more.

Love the new color looks very sharp! Very well made. I own tons of Siebert Jigs and Can confirm they are amazing.

I have a Legend Xtreme 7MH I got on clearance several years ago. I use it for mostly bottom contact. Best rod ever. I can tell you everything on bottom with that rod from strike to log to rock. It will help you get bass that bite soft. You feel every bite. Enjoy it you’ll want to fish it with every lure.

I seen Quantum has 50% off but this being made by Daiwa and weighing 7.4 oz over 8.4 oz on quantum smoke s3 spinning might be what I get.

I’m a fan of both but I agree Mepps spin way better. Though I’ve got tons of smallmouth and largemouth on Roostertail.

Don’t know why they call them “Excalibur“ either. I know I’ll be getting a few anyway. The Storm Smash shads look amazing. Looks like these are a magnet for Stripers from reviews I read. Anyhow I’ll be getting both lures.

I’m with majority on Rapala but I also like Strike King. Rat-L-Traps here are a gem. I don’t use anything but chrome colors of Rat-L-Traps. I’ve caught most of my bass on Rat-L-Traps from Illinois to Alabama. They catch fish.

Yeah now I remember these in stores a long time ago. never tried them. Def going to buy a few. I'm sure they sell out. Also like those Storm Smash Shad for $1.49. Thats a steal. Yeah my wife says same to me. Go without her. She won't know lol

I was looking at the Bass Pro Fishing Classic sale on March 12th and found on front page “Excalibur Square Bill.” Went onto bass Pro website to not find it in search. Are these any good!? The sale price is $2.99 originally $6.99.

You think a copolymer is better? I’ve tried it on Baitcasters but didn’t like it. The Sniper FC I love on baitcasters. Is a copolymer or FC much better? I feel like how well floro did on my baitcasters would be good on my spinning .

I’ve used some cheap FC before & it was bad. I do think there’s a difference between cheap and expensive. I don’t use leaders. Don’t think I need them. I like one knot over two. I can tie those knots but prefer just straight FC.

How is the Trilene have they upgraded it? I know years past wasn’t great. im looking to upgrade on my spinning line wanting to use a better FC. Why don’t anyone like Sunline FC on spinning?
