My biggest on a ribbon tail worm. The next 5 on a senko wacky rigged. Would’ve had (my newest) PB on a senko if she didn’t get off ? spinnerbaits/Chatterbaits are catching up.

These spinner baits can’t really have a trailer as they are small what @Bluebasser86 said. I’ve fished the pond magic when I was young. They work well when bass are aggressive or lake hasn’t had pressure. If there’s pressure I’d be fishing a different spinnerbait such as war Eagle. You could also buy a size #4 Shad rap they work very well (in fact you won’t want to put spinnerbait back on).

I’m another on Berkeley Power Worm. When I first started fishing the power worm wasn’t what it is today. I use the power worm more than the rage tail worms. Will tell ya the rage tail Cut-R worm is very effective but you lose tail easily because bass bite it off. Anyhow I used Tequila Sunrise as others mentioned. Let’s say it’s money when they want it .

First time I tried a chatterbait I had no luck. I saw some of @A-Jay pictures of bass he caught and he explained what he was using and how he fished it. I went and replicated and caught fish. You can rip it but in spring and early summer you want to reel in medium pace. I like to keep it above weeds but near bottom as possible. In spring and early summer the weeds here haven’t grown outrageous so you don’t have to rip it. It’s all about finding that happy medium they like. The lure is deadly looks like a Shad in water. Even pike hammer it. Haven’t had a pike nor miss it. Even got Muskie ☺️

Yes I have! They look amazing but likewise the price is high. I’m okay with the cheaper end Plano boxes. If you take care of them they’ll last a long time. I’ve had some of my Plano boxes for over 10 years. I have and it looks good. This will prob be my resort if the Stowaway doesn’t work but I think it will for what I need done.

I do think same way about bass mafia but I’ve owned Plano boxes my whole life I haven’t had any lose latches. Mine have bounced around too from time to time. Haven’t had issues with Plano. I see box boxes looking fairly identical. The build of the box might be better on coffin. I don’t know. I got the Waterproof StowAway the price is good and I haven’t had issues with Plano. I do like bass coffin it ever dropped in price would think about it.

I’ve had luck throwing senko into beds. The female usually bites. Pre-Spawn I would say they would work as well. I’ve used Shad Raps mostly pre-spawn.

Yeah it’s looks good for weights and hooks for all terminal but I only need a box for hooks. I ordered the plano on Amazon in my photos.

Go with both a spinnerbait and swim bait … the answer is a chatterbait. I love adding a Zako as my trailer .. AJay on here got me addicted! They also have Zako with paddle tails which are also deadly.

Yeah I seen that one don’t like how the middle is. Really making the box for just hooks. It looks great but not what im after.

Do you know the name? After much consideration I bought the Plano StowAway 3700 waterproof box I bought 3 of them. Will let everyone know how well they work. Thanks for your help. Seeing them at $10 a peice on Amazon was a steal.

I have some old Creek chubs I’ve gotten on eBay and garage sales. I been collecting a little . My wife hates it. One day I think she’s gonna use it as firewood. That’s why my collection is a little.. I go too much and I might be pushing my luck.

I like when others organize and make a box work for what they need. Really going to store hooks in it. I would jump on Bass Mafia if the price wasn’t over $30. I’ve watched videos of how good it is.

That’s pretty remarkable how you did that. I don’t really need 200 different items in one box but I do like your concept. There has to be an alternative box to the coffin that doesn’t cost $32

Never thought of soldering and heat-sealed dividers. So you like the Plano 3701 box? I’ll take a look at it.

Hello ? Im looking to upgrade my terminal tackle boxes (3700). I have a terminal tackle box already but it’s not enogh I need to start another one. I want to find a tackle box (3700) that has lots of dividers. I’ve come across these two I don’t want to pay Bass Mafia Coffin Bait at $32. Also seen they had a 2.0 which I read reviews and said it was junk plastic was flimsy. Then I stumbled on Plano Waterproof StowAway 3700 (Model #374010) box that can hold 4-24 dividers available on Amazon for $10 If anyone owns a Plano Waterproof StowAway 3700 (Model #374010)how good would it be to use for terminal tackle? Is it similar to Bass Mafia Bait Coffin? The Bass Mafia Bait Coffin is too much money ($30+) what’s another box that’s cheaper and similar to the coffin (if the Plano isn’t your choice)? Thanks all.

Hello ? I fish from boat, kayak, to shore fishing. I use a Bass Pro Extreme Qualifer tackle bag 370. I use 3700 boxes from Plano. I’ve never had issues with Plano. When I go to kayak I take boxes I need and put into my kayak storage. When I shore fish I have a book bag I bought at Walmart for $9 I put usually a box in and some plastics. The extreme qualifer bag is amazing. I love it best bag I’ve owned.

Yes Ed Shirley’s was the staple of local fishing stores. Once the sons took over business went downhill. Even at the rosemont convention center daredevils and rat-l-traps always had deals. I was young back then my grandfather, dad, and I would walk the convention for 8 hours so much to do. You’ll never see that again. Ed Shirley’s was the staple of local bait shop businesses in northern Illinois .

Yes Walmarts vary by me the Walmart in my town has one isle for fishing one side dedicated to lures. It’s pathetic when we have a river 3 miles from walmart. Will say that Walmart being on a giant lake had a plume of tackle. It was a small Walmart as well but it’s fishing isles lived up to its hype. They even had local baits in the Walmart. Let’s say it was impressive and better than bass pro. Amen I support local shops to as those lures hand made most of time will out fish the top brand lures be cashed they’re designed for that lake, river, or region. They used to have at rosemont convention center a fishing show with vendors would be over 300 fishing vendors. Most were locals selling fishing tackle. You don’t see that anymore it’s all but gone. You could go to those conventions and come away with $300 worth of fishing tackle for $100 because they had everything discounted. You don’t see sales like that anymore.. too many big companies controlling market.

I was going to say Springfield, Missouri Bass Pro Shops a close 2nd for me. The place is huge. Another one on my bucket list is the pyramid bass pro shops in Memphis, Tennessee. My family went there and said it’s amazing. At these mom and pops stores you find unique lures. These unique lures catch fish. Such as plastics made by a local in area.

Hello ? This thread is the best fishing store you’ve been into. Don’t just name Bass Pro, Scheels or Walmart. Name the city and state the store is in and why it’s the best. I’ll start… went on a fishing trip to Lake Guntersville about 6 years ago. Stayed around Guntersville, Alabama. Lake Guntersville is top 3 on my list of lakes. Anyhow my dad and I went to neighboring town to a Walmart. Let me tell you… the fishing isles were loaded with fishing rods, reels, line, and tons of LURES. It was like fishing heaven. Bass pro didn’t even come close. I counted 6 isles of fishing stuff it was the best Walmart fishing isle I’ve ever been into. One isle side was just plastic worms. Another just crank baits. Now I want to hear your favorite fishing store!
