  1. Looked at them at BPS but didn't pull the trigger. Sure are pretty though! Maybe in the spring I'll get a few.
  2. I always have some luck with black worms, so give it a shot. Let us know the results.
  3. Bass have no problem eating their friends.
  4. Frogs around here love my plastic worms.
  5. Pretty much any way you fish 'em, you'll get bit. Been throwing them all year and have had great success.
  6. Agree with Frenchman83. G & G Bait Co. out of Indiana will make whatever you want. Top quality, great prices, and a huge selection! Tell George that we sent ya.
  7. If you do, look for the Pit Chunk, which is a shortened version of the Pit Boss designed more for jigs.
  8. Nice job! You'll be back at it in no time.
  9. Pit Boss in Big Texan color. And Craw Fatty in green pumpkin.
  10. Great job! Nice one to start off with!
  11. I honestly didn't see a sale that was worth it! And I even have gift cards to spend, too.
  12. Welcome...where in Indiana?
  13. As long as it works, who cares how it looks?!?!? The fish don't.....
  14. That is something that he will always remember. Great job Dad!
  15. 3/16 weight, 4/0 EWG hook. I throw it everywhere, rocks, brush, laydowns, etc., you name it. This has been my go to lure this year. Big Texan color has been working well along with Green Pumpkin. You can fish it fast and get those legs flopping or fish it like a worm. Both have worked for me. Good luck!
  16. No dice here! Went over there and they only have $5 off the Tec Specs. Boo!!!!!
  17. I love my 7' Tec Spec! I off to Dick's....!
  18. "I also always have trouble imagining a shad or minnow swimming into a tree trunk. If they do in nature they should stop drinking and swimming." Now that's funny!
  19. I have a Syncopate and a Spirex in the 2500 size and love 'em both. I like the front drag models, but that's personal preference. 2500 is a good size for what you're doing. 4000 might be a bit heavy. I had a Spirex on a Sellus and really liked the way it felt and handled (until I snapped the Sellus in half!)
  20. It's a HUGE "out" for me. The chance to be alone, outside, doing something that I love, and maybe catching a few is the stress relief that I need sometimes.

Just like Colt .45, it works every time...
  22. This year, Pit Boss and Craw Fatty texas rigged.
  23. Think you answered your own question.
  24. You can't go wrong with the Berkley Lightning Rod Shock. Usually $40 at WalMart. Great rod for the price!
