Tackle Bag Boxes
The hook covers from BPS the less bulky ones aren't that bad. I have a lot of them on my treble hook baits. (Crankbaits, top water)

1St Bass Of 2015 - What Bait?
Wont know until late June (season opens 4th saturday) for where I live unless accidental catch when I fish for Pike and Perch. However I am going to Florida for the first time in April so I possibly I can report a PB on this thread then.

How Long Do You Fish A Spot Before Moving?
This. If it's a new place that I never fished before I will move more normally. However if the place screams BASS! (Cover, structure, laydowns, pads..etc) I will work it pretty thoroughly 20-30.

Set Up Advice, What's Next?!?
For me I'd get a MH/F rod first over the others. A 7' MH/F for heavier Plastics, spinnerbaits..etc. It would compliment your 7' Medium Fast Smoke. Then I'd go for a ML/F or XF Spinning rod to fill out your roster this will be your drop shot, small tubes, shaky heads.

Won A New Rod... What Should I Use It For
You got it.

Good Rod For Drop Shot??
In my opinion spinning rods between the 50-100 range, any will be fine for drop shot. You just need to find out if you want to buy something that just works or pay more because of how it fishes. For some reason I don't see to much of a difference (sensitivity wise) with this technique. My most expensive DS and main rod is a Crucial and it rocks. I've used cheaper rods and didn't feel like I was missing fish. I think dropshot is one of those techniques that I don't have a problem for bite detection. Of course using braid helps immensely. If I fish Texas rigs, jigs etc...I think that a more sensitive rod helps these techniques more.

Lost A Monster Today(Twice)...
Thinking the same thing, but who knows the whole situation though.

Seaguar Red Label Flurocarbon
Red Label is my favorite floro. However, I mostly use it as leader material.

Dropped A New Reel In The Lake
Glad you got it back, I remember shore fishing one day over a culvert that drops to 8-10ft. As I casted out I accidentally snagged my rod behind me with a Curado 50E on it and reacted quick enough to nab it just under the water. I was having a heart attack because it would've been difficult to retrieve because of the heavy current. (Culvert empties to main lake) I did a quick clean and lube, it wasn't too bad. Then again it didn't settle to the bottom.

Need Some Help From The Resident G.loomis Experts
I would concur. Although you may get away with it using the GLX FPR 894C.

First Casting Combo And Pond Story
BPS Pro Qualifier if you can get it at 80 definitely. I have 3 now, bought another this year. The two previous stand side by side with my Shimano reels. I don't have experience with the lightning rod, but I can comment on the Tourney Special, I didn't like it...but I know others who use and like them. So it might feel different for you. Another rod you could take a look at is the Shimano Sellus rod.

Shimano Crucial/cumara Gen1 Spinning Rod Question
I'd trust the guys above me if they do not have an issue with weightless, plus they have experience with the rod. I'd follow their advice!

One Baitcaster - What's Most Versatile Line?
12lb for me for mono line for a do all if I was going to pick one.

Shimano Crucial/cumara Gen1 Spinning Rod Question
If you mean weightless, the Cumara may have some trouble. I'd go with the Curcial M/F. Personally I don't go above a M/F on a spinning setup though. Anything that requires a MH rod I'll use a BC.

Ever Wanted A Lure To Work So Bad!!
Everytime I throw any lure in the water.

Shimano Calcutta 200 B
Crankbait rod, deep cranks and big swimbaits. Really you can use it for anything you want though, but those would be ideal.
-
Berkely Vanish
I use to use Vanish as a leader, but many times I've broken off fish. So I steer clear of it. I switched to Red Label as leader material and never had a problem of breakage.

Somewhat New From Canada Eh!

Anything Better Than Power Pro?
Never had a problem with PP. Most of my reels are spooled with PP regular. I have bought 832 to try out though. Just waiting for the season to start to fish it!
