Generic Reels On Amazon
Yeah saw you post it afterwards. The key for me is the last part. I like peace of mind.

Generic Reels On Amazon
Definitely and China is more under handed imo. They aren't "truly" private, the government pulls a lot of weight.

Generic Reels On Amazon
It's not that it's made in China it's that the brand name company has to uphold a certain quality control or they lose market share. The then said backed product would be better than a no name brand who will sell things with less quality control and not "back" their crap. Key is quality control and who builds it (brand).

Fenwick Elitetech Smallmouth 6'9" M-Xf Spinng -- What Would You Use This Setup For?
He's also the one who helped me take the plunge in trying out Fenwick rods and now this one is a vital part of my arsenal along with the Aetos.

My 2015 Arsenal (Ideas Welcomed)
I would go with braid if you're using the 6'10" also as a jig rod.

G. Loomis Introduces New E6X Rod Series
Daiwa lower ends which I have experience with would definitely be stiffer. If that is what you prefer you might favor the XF rod more.

G. Loomis Introduces New E6X Rod Series
What rods do you use now? Compared to a Abu Garcia and St. Croix's I owned, they do feel lighter. To me "personal preference" this is the power/action I feel is what they should be. That is why I usually buy these rods the most. Trust me though, they may feel lighter/wimpy, but they have the backbone to handle the situations you ask of them.

G. Loomis Introduces New E6X Rod Series
Before you make a decision though I'd still get one in hand. I am just going by my experience with Loomis power/actions that I have. So you still should base your decision on feel. I would never buy a rod without holding it.

Yes, shouldn't be an issue. You'd have no problems probably with finesse jigs on a M/F too.

Bootytrain answered the 200 frames are being retired. The 50E is staying sounds like.

Price Drop On Chronarchs! New Gen. Coming At The Classic?
Well, the Chronarch CI4+ I own palms pretty much the same as a size 50 reel. The Chronarch has a slightly longer frame. I also remember a Shimano rep on another board stating their probably won't be one either for the near future. Just thought you knew something that disputed that.

Sahara or Symetre would be in your budget.

G. Loomis Introduces New E6X Rod Series
Just going by my Loomis experience I'd go with the XF version. Especially if you are using jigs that need some backbone on it.

Price Drop On Chronarchs! New Gen. Coming At The Classic?
No one is saying a replacement is coming. They did say there are a couple of new things that will be introduced at the classic. Lots of rumors, one of them is there will be a new Citica. It's only a week away!
