In Need Of Jig Rod
I would use that rod as a Carolina, pitching stick or possibly swimbait.

In Need Of Jig Rod
It would probably be ok for the higher weight range you listed, but 1/4 oz I think would be too light to load the road. The Carbonlite MH/F is rated 3/8 to 1 oz. This rod might be able to handle with a trailer, but even then it would be a challenge to cast.

New G Loomis Rod
I smell clearance coming soon.

In Need Of Jig Rod
I'd go with what he said. MH/F is what I would be using on the weights you listed and it should handle moderate cover just fine.

What Did You Get At The Bps Spring Classic.
I was going in more to just buy lures and baits. Instead I nabbed 2 Carbonlites, 1 7.1.1 PQ, 2 Storm Arashi Square 3 and two reel grips. The Carbonlites were the old ones on clearance.

Your Setup : Chatterbait , Spinnerbait , Swim Jig ?
I throw all these regularly 3/8-1/2 oz on a MH/F rod. No difference in line. I use floro leaders and my braid would be in the 30-40lb with 8-12 lb leader. Usually on a 7 to 1 reel. I'll normally use a 7' rod.

Jackall Flickshake

Best Action And Power Baitcaster
If you want to do it with Crankbaits and not get a moderate tip rod. Then you're best bet would be the M/F rod. You would be limited though because you probably wouldn't be able to finish heavier cover. IMO if you remove CBs, I'd go with MH. Really you should at least have a moderate action rod for your CB. See the pinned post about the 3 rods.

Bps Revolution Low Profile Reel = Next Gen Pro Qualifier?
Sweet, I might pick one up when they go on sale. I need a big cranker and/or a swimbait reel when I decide I'm going to start it.

Question About This Product - To Clean Reels
A friend of mine is using this to clean his reels and parts. (here) It is a Staples cleaner for Whiteboards, when I looked at it ingredients it seemed like not a good idea. Of course I'm not an expert though. It says it environment friendly. What do you guys think? He says it's awesome to clean with. I'm hesitant to use it.

New G Loomis Rod
When you get it let me know how it fishes! I am needing a new spinning rod later in the year.

New G Loomis Rod
I would say even lower for a GL2 100 bucks. I own one and I like it, still in my rotation. I use it as my spinnerbait rod, I wouldn't use it as my jigs/plastics rod though. Too heavy. I will occassionally pitch with it in sparse/moderate cover. (893C)

New G Loomis Rod
Still didn't think the G's were that bad. I am not worried that my G's will fail or die in 10 years.

Chronarchs On Sale At Cabelas
Or it could be a whole new line. I think that is the approach they should go.

Bait Monkey Me?
FJ's rock! Nice solid setup. Surprised it wasn't a NRX or GLX too. I can't wait to see the reviews on the E6Xs by us regular fishermen.

New G Loomis Rod
I'm hearing and reading from guys who have fished them and usually are respectable guys. They are saying you'll be pleasantly surprised. So hopefully they did!

What Are You Planning On The Spring Fishing Classic Starting Tomorrow At Bps?
Yeah I wanted to grab a bag if they had it in 4". I ran out of that size last year. The 5" does decently, but I have a lot of bigger ones that I can't seem to catch anything with. So I came away with none.
