  5. I always have my dropshot rig on deck...always It spends a good bit of time in my hand too lol I made myself learn it last year and it paid off well...saved the day more than a few times and helped me weigh a limit several times as well
  6. I wont buy another abu unless it was another gen 2 I had a couple gen 3 stx because i i liked my gen2 stx so much. Ended up sending the gen 3s back several times because after a few casts i had no drag or spool engagment. They were very early production models so im sure they fixed the issue. I will say Abu has outstanding customer service
  7. Wow...cant go wrong with that! The *** is a very very nice rod...especially for 155!
  8. Both are solid sticks...i like the cork on the mojo bit the veritas blank is better imo Id sacrifice the cork for the better blank in a quick second In that price point also check out the ***, fenwick elite, and the powell ( cant remember its name but is low 100s) and loom at the croix premier for a few bucks more i never did learn to like my mojo bass that i got a few years ago. It was replaced with a ***
  9. The search button is dirt cheap! Just make sure you use mustad hooks!
  10. Shimano core... Seriously, what application man? Spinning or casting, all around reek or flipping, topwater, cranking or ????? I really think the STX is the best all around reel in th abu lineup, rocket for flipping and winch for cranks I use tje STX 6.4 for jerkbaits and cranks. Greal reel and a loooong caster. The lews TP i have is VERY similar in performance as well and it should be since they are made by the same people lol
