I own and wear both...ive been wearing oakleys for 20 years everywhere but on the water...i prefer the costa 580g amber/green on the water...especially fresh water. In the salt i wear blue/gray offshore and a green amber inshore

As do i I seem to prefer the centrifugal brakes more. Even though my revo stx and my lews TP have both i tend to rely on my centri brakes with both and well since all my shimanos have the svs system it makes sense for me

Very tough to frog and crank on the same rod...my crankin rods are like noodles compared to my frog rod

All i had done was a Supertune...cleaning and polishing. Mike can certainly elaborate more on exactly what he does...but d**n he does it good!

Ive got a fever! And the only presciption is more froggin! It is certainly one of the most fun ways to fish. BC or spinning gear it doesnt matter, just have enough rod and line to get em out of the slop and pads!

Finally got my DVT supertuned curado 201e7 onthe water he other day holy crap! She casts loooong and smooth! Way better than before and with less effort Retrieve is is just like new if not a hair better, overall it is awesome! Totally worth it! Tks a ton Mike!

Biglblock....you wont have issues with the palomar knot...been using it forever with flouro. Ive yet to have a knot failure with it. Jusy lube it and tie it right and you will be fine

I used it for mainline for a year and a half...pretty decwnt stuff especially for the price. I never had any issues with it and i did not use line conditioner Pros: Cheap Decently sensitive Cons: Stiff rather stretchy I tried invisx and tatsu and well they rock but it costs twice as much. Red Label will treat you well especially in its pricepoint

I know ive thrown an A-rig on my crankbait rod before lol I was/is a loomis gl2 7' mh mod tip...couldnt launch em but it worked lol...ive also thrown ribbit frogs with the same rod Yes op you can throw an a-rig with your frog rod

I really think it boils down to conditions, time and place more than anything. Ie i have lakes where i kill em on spinnerbaits and swimjigs and other lakes where the fish wont touch either even though the waters are very similar
