I have fished with the triumph, mojo, premier, tidemaster, avid, LTB and extreme The mojo just didnt feel or handle that well imo...i bought my mojo and a premier at rhe same time...i still have the premier. They are close is price and i felt the premier was all around better than the mojo Dont get my wrong though the mojo is a soild stick!

  10. I bought a ptxm baitcaster in 2004...i used it once and rhe bearings screemed like a banshe. Sent it back and they fixed it...lasted six casts and screamed again...sent it back and they fixed it and that time it lasted three casts and one short flip...sent it back and they "fixed" it again. Then i went on deployment Got home and took it out and the second cast yep tou guessed it...screamed like hell again. I then removed it from the rod and chucked it into lake wallenpaupak. Its about 200yds rigjt of the boat launch if anyone wants it Shame too i used my buddies ptxm and i loved it so i bought one and got a pos Kinda burned me on quantum since they refused to give me a new one

  16. ive been tourny fishing for three years now and ill tell ya what!! it is humbling! i have yet to get a top three finish in the dozen or so tournys i have been lucky enough to fish ( work, school and family life keep me busy). I have however finished 4th 3 times, lunker once, and have had fun each and every time! my partner and finished 4th yesterday in a buddy touny and missed the cash by one ounce...one ounce! but we had a d**n good time and thats what matters! just be happy to out fishing and having a good time!
  17. Quite a day on Honeoye saturday My partner (PAGreg) and i started the day working some topwater, he got a few hits and caught one short bass on a buzzbait. Then we started flipping docks. It turned out that the deeper we got into the docks the better as we caught a ton of fish up under the docks and boats moored to them. You couldn't just be close you HAD TO BE up under them!. Id say we caught close to 40 fish between the two of us on Beavers, Jigs, Flapping Hogs, Rage Craws, Jigs and chatter baits. colors were blues, greens and black and blue for the most part. We just couln't find that bigger fish, we caught tons in the 1.5 - 2lb range and had a great time but man finding that one kicker eluded us. we ended up fourth with 9.3lbs, 1 Oz away from cashing a check. leaders had 11lbs and change and the lunker was 3.12. all in all we did pretty d**n good imo since it was a new lake to us. the key was being in and deep under the docks!
  18. Because i want the lilypads, tree and brush too! Lol The only rig i have without 12-20lb flouro is my froggin rig lol
  19. I really noticed that with my chronarch ci4...its silky smooth all time and under the load of a good fish it doesnt change a bit...love that reel!

  23. I have a *** black 7'3 h with citica e6 and 65# pp Works nice and it can bomb holly body froggys a mile! Any rod over 7 will do in a mh and up depending on whatt kind of cover you wanna fish
  24. Seaguar invisx and tatsu. I used to use redlabel and pline as well and never had any issues. Now if i let the reel sit for months on end ill get some curles in the line but even then i just fish em until the go away...usually only takes ahandful of casts and all is well again
