I like to look for eddys, off shore structure and current breaks I also like ti bring my baits through the fasterwater and into the slower water...or parallel to the fast water

I match the reel with i want to use the rod for For example on my jig and t rig rods i have 7.1 or higher ratios and 6.4 or lower on my crankbait rods Weight comes into play some for balancing but color means nothin to me lol

Oh and i used to see Wade Boggs fishing the flats of tampa bay on occasion when i lived there

One thing I like about the club I fish in that most can put the trailer in the water blindfolded! what can I say most of us have at somepoint worked on a farm or with farm equipment where I am from lol

Im a shimano guy as well however i do own a gen2 revo stx....its really a great reel and it gets a ton of use. Super solid little workehorse for me And i really think it is rather user friendly. I use mine mainly for jerbaits and cranks with 12# invisx

I lost my favorite jerbait yesterday to a beast of a hybrid striper...still about it lol. Thats the first lure i have lost to a fish in over ten years. And it was the same reason again...i didnt retie after i got hung up.
