Tennessee fishing
Yeah I fish watauga. It's just gotta pick your spots that you launch from due to how big it is. Lol. With a boat it's an awesome lake.

Tennessee fishing
I'm up in the east TN corner. Johnson City. I fish mainly south holston river, lake, watauga river, lake, boone, Cherokee, and douglas. Hoping to hit the pigeon a few times this year to try it out. I fish from a yak the majority of the time. If anyone would want to tag along some time just let me know!

Get me in a kayak- Big boy kayak?
Of course you are going to get answers based off of what everyone owns or has owned. Personally my vote goes to jackson. I was 295 lbs last spring. I have owned two coosa HDs, a big rig, and just purchased a coosa FD. If you're going to be in lakes mainly you're going to want a pedal drive. Boats for big boys are like pontoons. And paddling them SUCK!! Not gonna sugar coat it. If you are in a river or not going far sure but not for moving much. Now the great thing about jackson is you can buy a big rig HD, paddle it around and then when you have more funds buy the flex drive. It has a 500lb weight capacity. The coosa HD is also a very stable boat but I live mainly on the rivers so that's why I stuck with the coosa. If I was gonna be in mainly lakes and ponds I would have bought a big rig HD/FD. You can find some awesome deals on 2019s right now that places are closing out. If you are interested in a few places let me know. I have a few Saved that I know still have 2019 models. My brand new 2019 was $1000 off.

Is like two jigs a person okay with everyone? I figured a black and blue and a gp craw accent. Those colors really work everywhere

swimbait setup
Look at okuma guide selects and the new savage gear bowser rods. I had a rod built off an MHX blank but for off the shelf in the weights your wanting to throw I think either of those rods will do fine. Also don't over look a reel. You need a reel that will handle big baits. I run a lexa and have been happy with it so far.

Which patterns would you paint?
I would go with a trout or an ayu. Where did you get that bottom blank? I have been trying to find one.

Anyone Got An Omen 7'11"?
I bought the 7'3" *** heavy for flipping and I love it!! It is super sensitive and you can really pull a fish out quick. I even threw and 3 bait A rig on it sunday and not a problem. My rod feels super lightweight to me but the 7'11" may feel different...

Some Of My Custom Airbrushed* Crank Baits

What Do You Do For A Living?
EMT-P in Tennessee. Love my job, work 24 hours at a time and have lots of time to fish. I see some people at the worst times in their lives and hope to make a difference. There's no feeling like that.

New From Tn
New to Bassresource. Been lurking for a while but finally decided to join. Fish smaller lakes like boone, fort patrick henry, and south holston. Just got my new to me boat, a 1999 Triton TR-19 with a 175 Johnson. Already learned a lot from this site and hope to learn more and contribute. Here's pictures of my ride.
